This card has been pretty useful overall. I applied for it a few years ago when I needed to do some back to school shopping for college. I was happy when they gave me a $1000 line of credit with very little hassle, and a low interest rate as well. I have been using the card for purchases at GAP and affiliated stores ever since with no trouble. I pay off the balance every single month, which is probably why I've had no problems. I have heard of some people who get their interest rates jacked up because they've missed a payment, but I kind of think that's to be expected. Another cool thing about the GAP card is the discounts that you can earn when you spend a certain amount of money. I get coupons in the mail all the time, and they can add up to pretty significant savings. I recommend this card to anyone who intends to pay the balance off in full every month and wants to get free rewards.
I really like this credit card overall. The interest rate is pretty low and it's easy to use. It is very nice because Toys R Us gives you rewards for spending a certain amount of money on the credit card. It really comes in handy around the holidays or my kids' birthdays when I know I will be making a lot of purchases. Their customer service could be a bit better though. Some of the employees I've dealt with in the credit department have been rude.
I have been using Esurance for about a year now and couldn't be happier! They are SO easy to use and their prices can't be beat. When it came time to renew my policy, I was expecting my rate to skyrocket, but that did not happen. In fact, I was even able to save a bit of money by renewing. Esurance offers instant proof of insurance as well, which is super convenient! I just printed out a PDF of my insurance card and I had it right away. I am very satisfied with Esurance and highly recommend them.
I was very disappointed with Premier America Credit Union's customer service when my husband and I opened a CD with them a few years ago. They did not inform us of the rules properly. They had told us that we could collect the interest from the CD on a monthly basis instead of at the end of the term. This turned out to be untrue, and caused us to lose money with an early withdrawal fee. We ended up speaking with management, who was very rude and did not try to help us at all. Needless to say, we closed our CD and got out of there!
This checking account is very easy to use, but it does have some downfalls. For example, the account automatically gets assessed monthly fees if you do not have an auto transfer set up between your checking and savings account. This can be quite annoying when you're trying to balance your books each month. Aside from that, it is a great checking account! The online banking features on Wells Fargo's website are very user-friendly, and their customer service has always been good in my opinion.
Logix is a wonderful credit union that consistently goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service. I have been banking with them since 2002 and have never had any issues. Every time I visit a branch, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. I never feel like I am being sold to, which is common in many other banks. I get the feeling that they genuinely want to help me, and I matter to them.
