I worked with Daniel Amori at Allstate when I needed to get car insurance. He answered all my questions, even checked to make sure I was getting the best rates. He was very helpful and walked me through the entire process. I would highly recommend him to others and would work with him in the future.
I worked with the Homestead Funding group when looking for a mortgage and I was contacted by Ashley Rose. She worked with me through the process and made sure I she answered all of my questions. I did have a lot of questions and wanted to make sure I was getting the best rates. She went over everything and the process went smoothly. I would work with her again.
I used to use another local bank in the area but after reading up on credit unions I decided to make the switch. I went with Washtenaw Federal Credit Union as they had good reviews and were fairly close to me. They had no fees, and were very friendly to me. Overall, I enjoy working with credit unions more and I can not think of anything negative to say about them.
I have been with AAA for car insurance for quite a few years. My parents used them and had very good experiences so naturally I wanted to give them a shot as well. The only issue I found is that the rates weren't as good as a few other companies but ultimately I decided to go with them anyway. Knowing that they had such a good reputation was worth spending a bit more on. I haven't had any issues with them.
I needed a good online only bank and I saw an advertisement for Ally. I liked that they had good mobile features so I could do the banking from my phone. I also liked how they didn't have any fees with the account. Also no minimum balance needed to open the account either. I've been using them for a while now and I have no complaints at all.
I have had an account with California Bear Credit Union for quite a while now and I have nothing bad to say about them. Fantastic customer service where they will do everything to help you quickly. ATMs are widely available, no crazy outrageous fees like monthly maintenance fees or anything like that. You really can't go wrong with a bank like California Bear Credit Union. After being with some big banks in the past I would never go back to that.
I have had a citizens bank account for years, they recently got bought out by first merit, but overall the service remains the same. I haven't had any problems with them throughout the years. They always treated me very well. There are no monthly maintenance fees or anything like that. They don't reimburse ATM fees as far as I am aware of, but that's not to much of a problem. You get free checks, and their online interface isn't bad, but certainly not the best out there either. I mainly used them because the local branch was very close to my house and it was convenient to go there. I have no complaints about them though.
