I moved into a new neighborhood with an Umpqua bank and decided to transfer to this bank. I moved my checking and savings account. So far, I am unimpressed. Even though I like having a local bank, I dislike the fees associated with my checking account. I spoke with a customer service agent about my concerns, and found out that even though there is a monthly fee just for having the account, my deposits and checks up to a certain amount are free each month. She said there was nothing to waive the monthly service fees which was disappointing. The customer service agency was very helpful and personable which is a nice change from my last bank, but I just wish the policies of this bank were different.
I recently switched credit unions when I changed jobs. The transfer of my funds from my previous credit union to BECU was quick and painless. The application process was simple and the customer service agent who helped me was informative and friendly. A few weeks later however my account was compromised and I had to get new cards. That was a hassle! BECU froze my account and money for longer than necessary, and I didn't have access to money that I needed for longer than I was happy with with. After contacting customer service though, it was quickly resolved and I had access to both my account, and funds. I am very happy with BECU and would highly recommend to colleagues, friends, and family.
I have had a savings account with Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) for the last 15 years. I am extremely satisfied and pleased with the service I receive. The interest rate on my account is fair and comparable to what I would receive at other banking institutions. I choose to stay with WSECU because of the consistently excellent service I have received over the past 15 years. My answers and inquiries are answered promptly and even when a resolution cannot be immediately agreed upon, there is always an open line of communication between the bank and me. The customer service is phenomenal, and I always feel that I am receiving all the of the factual information, rather than just being misled and told what I want to hear.
I have been a customer with Key Bank for over 5 years now. Overall I am pleased with the bank. They have convenient online banking options which are easy for me to access and pay my bills. The customer service with this bank is excellent. Whenever I had had a problem they have been extremely response and quick to offer solutions to my issue. I recommend this bank to all of my friends and family due to the great customer serve and problem resolution I have always received from them. I also have requested loans through this bank and have been very pleased with the process. I was walked through the process with respect, and given honest information and fair consideration.
