Aspiring student looking to chase dreams
Nationwide has served as a phenomenal car insurance company for myself and my family. Their policies are fair and stable, and a fender bender did not substantially increase my rates at any time. However, they did not disclose an annual raise in policy one time, so that is why they do not get 5 stars for clear disclosures. However, after horror stories i've heard about other companies, Nationwide definitely takes the cake as a family-friendly, efficient company.
As mentioned before, the Virtual Wallet is a very unique type of banking that PNC offers. Within the account, they also provide a savings account for members to place money in known as a "Growth" account. The standards for the Growth account are very lenient, as nearly any sum of money placed in there will begin to gain a miniscule interest. PNC doesn't take funds from your account or membership fees in order to have this account in place, even if it does not contain sufficient or massive amounts of funds inside. The customer service is great and the bankers are knowledgeable and provide every customer with a great starting pathway to saving their money and building their wealth at PNC.
The union is really good to establish a credit line and then eventually reap the benefits, as they really do credit members who have been with the establishment for a long time. Also, convenient for a college student, the minimum deposit and balances remain low so that the student does not lose their account.
Using the PSECU was able to give me a lot of flexibility, as the bank was located on my school's campus in the union building. They provide great interest on loans for those looking to purchase vehicles, and overall were very easy to work with. They also come with a lot of perks for ATM and banking such as fees for using other bank's ATMs being covered.
PNC Virtual Wallet is by far the most high recommended financial banking service that I could mention. Firstly, the process of acquiring a Visa debit card for your virtual wallet is quick and painless, and the easy ATM access with minimum fees creates a convenient experience. Also being a low budget college student, the lack of a REQUIRED amount to have stored in the account at all times is also very useful. The employees are very nice at every branch that I have ever been to. In addition, I had once racked an overdraft fee of over $80 USD, and they waived it from my account for free, after just signing up for a PNC Credit Card, which them knowing I was a college student, I wouldn't be accepted for anyway. Overall, great bank!
