I have been with USAA bank for about a year now. I have been very satisfied with them. their customer service is top notch and they have always solved any issues I have had and they are very prompt as well. Transfers between accounts are very fast which is a huge plus for me. They also have no fees attached to the account. I am completely satisfied with their service.
I have a few different savings accounts I use for different purposes. I really like my Barclays Dream Savings Account because they have a fairly good interest rate which is higher than what most other banks out there provide. The customer service is top notch as well and I have no complaints with them in that department. There are no fees to use the account either. No monthly maintenance fees or anything like that, which a lot of other banks have been adding as a way to squeeze every last dime out of you. Overall, Barclays is a great bank to have a savings account with.
I got fed up with the problems I experienced at some bigger banks in my area. My credit card information had been stolen and false charges were made on it. I contacted the bank but they wouldn't reverse the overdraft fees, after that I had enough and moved to Cornerstone Community Financial credit union. I've been very satisfied with their service. They treat you with respect and not like your just another account to them. There were no fees at all as well which made it even better.
I was looking for a good online bank to use for a savings account a while back and a friend recommended to me Ally bank. I have been satisfied with the service they provide. Not having to deal with fees just to store my money there is great and the customer service is fantastic as well. I even found out they offer free computer anti virus software just for having an account with them. If you can handle having the account be online only, I highly recommend checking out Ally bank for savings or checking accounts. I have had no issues at all since using them.
I used creditkarma a while back when I was trying to build up my credit score. I liked them very much because it was pretty accurate, and they recommended credit cards that they felt I would be approved for. Also they have a lot of information on how to build you credit score up. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service, especially since it's all free.
I have been with First Merit for quite some time now. For the most part they are a decent bank but they have some issues. The prices of checks are quite expensive, they have a horrible policy for overdrafts, and generally just bad customer service overall. Any time I've had issues with them and had to deal with the customer service I've always left unsatisfied and frustrated. I am currently looking for another bank to switch to as I have had enough of them.
