I have to say one of the reasons I switched banks was because of the bad customer service I received continuously with HSBC bank. I had a checking account for a matter of months only and honestly speaking was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The reps are extremely rude, they do not like to resolve any issues and the only answer is for one to go into the branch. At the branch you must be prepared to be treated like a new customer every time you go in. I had to wait for over a half hour to be seen the few times I was there. Only to prove to them that they were at fault for the countless overdraft fees I was charged. The checking account also needed to maintain a balance in order not to be charged. These days other banks offer this for free without a monthly balance. I was not satisfied at all, however everyone has their own opinion. As for me DO NOT bank with them.
I opened a savings account with TD Bank a few months ago and I must say I am fairly happy with the overall service. It does not require a monthly fee. As long as I have a minimum amount transferred from my checking account, which is extremely convenient. On top of the money I want to save an automatic sum also goes into the account. It helps my money grow at a reasonable speed. The customer service reps are very friendly as well. There was one time when I did have an issue with my deposit that did not go through. I was charged the maintenance fee. However after being on the phone with them for about five minutes they realized it was their mistake and they quickly resolved the issue by refunding me. Great bank and I love having a savings account.
We recently have changed our homeowners insurance due to a few inconveniences from our other company. We decided to go with MetLife, at first I was a bit skeptical in switching, but gave it a shot. The transition was very easy and the reps were very helpful. MetLife homeowners insurance covers damage caused to your home by fire, lightning, tornado, or any other disaster. Which seems great. The price was right and offered much more than my previous company. We have not had any claims and at this point in time we are very happy with our decision.
I have been a customer of Liberty Mutual for 2 years now. The service is exceptional. the customer service is on point and handles any questions or concerns in a timely matter and answer your questions fully. Last year I was involved in an accident. There was a vehicle that hit my car from the back. Once I called Liberty Mutual they handled everything. I did not have to contact any additional insurance companies. Liberty Mutual handled my case within two weeks and since my car was considered totaled I received a check within a month. During which time they also provided me with a rental which was the best. I have two vehicles and thus far they have been the cheapest having myself and my husband. If you want good service and affordable prices Liberty Mutual is the way to go.
I recently opened a checking account with TD bank and I would like to say its been pretty good so far. I am disappointed in the fact that there is a monthly fee of 5.99. Which is small but it still should be free. I have my checks direct deposit every week and considering this it should be free. I do all of my banking online and thus far its been great.everything is set up to be withdrawn automatically and it will normally go through a few days later which works out since at times there is no money in the account. So I can determine how many days I have until its withdrawn. If there is ever an issue i can usually call them and i have hardly any wait times and problem is usually resolved quickly. Only other thing is that there are not many locations in my area so I have to go to the same bank before I go anywhere for the day. I do know that everyone has their own experiences but mine have been pleasant! I will keep this bank account for now.
