I mainly got the Chase Sapphire Preferred for the sign-up bonus. So far I have been pleased with how my points are adding up quickly. Since I regularly use travel mileage cards for flights, this card's bonus of $100 was attractive enough for me to get it. I like that I can combine my points from this card with other Chase credit cards getting free flights even quicker. Since I also have the Chase Freedom card I can double up on getting my miles quicker. I plan to continue using thus card as my main credit card for now and use my other cards as secondary cards as I'm wanting to build up my mileage taking advantage of Sapphire's reward plan.
Sounds like a useful card to have if you spend a lot on gas during the month. Rebate on gas can add up!
When I signed up for this card it gave a bonus of 50,000 miles. I have used this card for several years and have found the miles useful for our travel, although I have other credit cards that offer better miles and double miles for every dollar spent. Overall, I have been pleased.
I signed up to use the Spirit airlines credit card while we were on a Spirit flight. Our family travels frequently and are always looking for good travel deals (i.e. free miles or flights) and the announcement for all the free sign-up miles with the Spirit credit card was too good to pass up. At first we were mainly interested just in the perks of getting the extra bonus sign-up miles, but after our first statement we realized that getting 2 miles for every dollar spent was an excellent perk! At the rate we were racking up miles from our purchases, we figured we could count on at least one domestic trip for 4 each year absolutely free. And that is very good news!We will be using this card for quite a while!
