No credit card needed
I have had this Capital One Cash Rewards card now for about 6 months and have had no issues whatsoever. I had just managed to pay off my last credit card that had had to get in an emergency. It had a really bad interest rate but I didn't really have an option as nobody else wanted to work with me at the time. So after I got done with that finally I asked around and a friend suggested this one and I am very glad he did. the interest rate is fair, the reward system is great, and I love that I can put any picture I want on it.
Good card from a very great and respectable bank. The interest rate honestly could be better but you can't beat the 18 month intro rate. Besides, as for the interest rate, as long as you are smart with your money that wont matter right? Just make sure you pay it off every month and it won't matter. Also the people are very polite and helpful. I lost my card shortly after getting it and when I called they got it canceled in a matter of minutes, and had a new one to me within a few weeks. Really took a load off my mind when they got it canceled so fast.
The Capital One Cash Rewards Cards may not have the best interest rate but the rewards program it features MORE then makes up for it. The 0% liability program is also great in this uncertain day and age. You simply never know when something could happen to your card and and knowing that if it is stolen you will not be responsibly for the charges can give you peace of mind. The 25 day grace period is also a huge plus in my book because not all of us can always pay our bills on time. So knowing if something comes up I have a little wiggle room is great.
Some of us simply don't have bank accounts and sometimes just need to buy something online. If you are in the same boat you really can't help but avoid prepaid credit cards. Most are, to be perfectly honest, a flat out scam. This one is not bad at all though. Very low fee, easy to use. It has free direct deposit if you are planning on using it long term and is even free at quite a few ATM's. The text alerts about balance are very handy as well. Very good way to go if you are planning on using prepiad.
