The Amazon.com credit card looks like an awesome card! I think the automatic $30 amazon gift card upon your acceptance is really cool. It's better than an amazon prepaid card because it can be used anywhere Visa cards are accepted. You can use points towards your purchases at amazon.com or you can get cash back rewards. The interest rates vary but the range is actually pretty decent from 14 - 22 %. My other cards are all somewhere close to and around 20%. I always like when credit cards have cash advance options because you never know when you'll need a few extra bucks. Overall, I really like the looks of this card and I'm going to apply for it.
I really use my Wal-Mart credit Card a lot! I am always at Wal-Mart and I always need something. It's nice because you can use the cards at other stores too; anywhere they accept Discover cards. The best thing about this card are the savings you get on gas. You can save up to 15 cents per gallon but it is never lower than 3 cents per gallon. With gas prices the way they are today, this is an awesome benefit. I always get gas at the "Wal-Mart" gas station when I'm in town. I also had no problem being accepted with this card and my credit is good, not excellent. I enjoy the low monthly payments despite my ability to pay the balance in full. Interest rates are normal. The online service is good and each month you get a free report of your credit score. I really like that!!
This Banana Republic credit card is super awesome if you do a lot of shopping at gap, old navy or banana republic (or anywhere else really, but especially these places)! You get 5 points per dollar spent (1 point everywhere else). The nice thing about this card is that although you benefit more if you shop at those stores (gap, banana republic, old navy) you still get some rewards for shopping at other places. It can be used anywhere Visa cards are accepted. In my experiences with credit cards, the 23.99% interest rate is a little high, but not drastically outrageous to deter me from the card. I also like the cash advance option; that can always helps in an emergency situation!
The Express Store Card is a good card if you shop at Express alot and have the ability to pay off your card monthly. The interest rates are kind of high (24.99%) compared to my other store credit cards. But, you do get a lot of points per dollar spent and there is no penalty APR, over-limit charge or annual fee. They give you cash rewards when you get so many points and you even get a birthday gift (a nice little perk). I don't like that there is no introductory interest rate or promotional period but it's also nice there is no limit to the number of points/rewards you can accumulate!
Using the American Express Prepaid card is similar to using a debit card; there are minimal fees. This is sooo nice. Who wants to spend a higher amount of money in return for a card that is worth less than you paid for? Or pay more per transaction (ten dollars when your items total 7). It makes no sense. The only fee i really see with the American Express prepaid card is the transaction fee for ATM withdrawals and $2 per transaction is on the lower end and normal for cash withdrawals. They even give you one free w/d per month, which is nice if you're like me and don't take cash out very often!
I like that this card gives you reward points for purchases at restaurants and travel. The Chase Sapphire Card also has a very reasonable interest rate. Much lower than what I am used to with my other credit cards (they're usually around 20% or so). I like that there is no over-limit fee but this seems to be more and more standard with credit cards. The only thing that I don't really like about this Chase Sapphire card is the excellent credit rating required. My credit score is good, but not excellent so I might have a problem with applying for the card which is a bummer because the interest rates are so good.
This New york & Company Credit Card has a very awesome reward program! You get extra points for shopping at New York & Company, but you still get rewards for using the card at other stores too! I have always heard good things about this company and looking at the terms I don't see anything that is disappointing. I like that there are no late fees or overlimit charges. I also like that there is no annual fee; none of my current credit cards have an annual fee and I don't plan on paying one anytime soon! I think the "week of savings for your birthday" is exceptionally awesome!!
The ExxonMobil Credit Card certainly is ideal for buying gas. If you buy a lot of gas and are constantly traveling for work or pleasure, then you would benefit from this card. The card offers 15 cents per gallon back for gas purchases at Exxon/ Mobil stations and 2% on purchases elsewhere; that is a pretty good return for gas! I also like that the card can be used almost anywhere because it might come in handy when you least expect it (but need it)! The interest rates are right in line with other MasterCard programs I have used in the past. I would most definitely recommend this card!
The Goodyear Store card has a few good and a few bad qualities. I think the interest rates are a bit higher compared to other store cards I have used, my wal-mart store card is around 22%. I also think the network is limited as the card can only be used at a goodyear store. Furthermore, Goodyear only offers products in one specific market; therefore the card is really not that much of a convenience to have. There is no annual fee, no over limit charge and a cash advance option which are all good things, but are also pretty common among credit cards. Overall, I would prefer a card that could be used more widely rather than at just one store.
I always am using my wal-mart credit card. It is very easy and convenient to use. You can use it at Wal-mart (Obviously) and also there is a gas station which is affiliated to wal-mart and the card can be used there. I really enjoy using the card for gas because there is always at least a 3 cent per gallon discount when used ( and it goes up to ten cents!) I also like that there is a cash advance option available with this credit card. I didn't have any problems being accepting to this card program and my credit limit is small enough to allow me to keep my finances in check. I really recommend this card because nowadays who doesn't shop at Wal-mart? It's really convenient to use and comes in very handy.
I like that the intro period offered through this card is one year. I like that there are no overlimit charges and the interest rates seem to be in line with credit cards I have used in the past (mainly the Reward zone program Mastercard). I don't usually use reward programs, but I like that this card offers rewards if I choose to use them. I absolutely love that you can choose what team you want on your card and that the card offers online services. Online services are SO helpful!! I do not like that the card requires you to have "excellent or good" credit rating; although, my credit rating would fall into that category, I have limited credit history and I think it would be hard for me to get this card. That is one problem I never had with my previous cards ( The rewardzone and also my Wal-mart Mastercard), they were all low balance and not hard on "low or no credit" applicants. I had no trouble being accepted.
