The Citi thank you card is an okay card. Like all rewards cards they pretty much offer the same thing. 1 point per dollar spent. Notbpad.. but you need so many points in order to cash in on something worth a crap. As in any rewards card the interest is a little higher (because of the rewards) but not ridiculously high as to where you would not want to have this card. I have never had any trouble with billing or charges or anything along them lines. Like I said, decent card. It has the Citi name which in itself tells you a lot.
I used to have an American Express card until all of the area businesses decided to stop taking it. I dislike VISA so I decided to go with Discover. This card is pretty basic and that's what I like about it. The statements are easy to understand. Usually I just buy what I need for the month, groceries, online bills, gas, etc... and then when it comes in I just pay off the balance. You don't get charged interest rates doing it this way. The rate isn't too bad even if you did have to pay the rates. You have to have excellent credit to be approved for this card and as long as you do it is pretty easy and quick.
Well, it's a decent rewards card. That's about all there is to say. You get rewards points to spend at different places. You earn more if you shop there. I haven't had any problems with the card or the service. A previous review said the payment system id mindboggeling but I don't have an issues. Use the card, pay the bill, use the card, pay the bill, etc. It's an okay card. The interest rate is a bit steep but at this point they all are. I would recommend this to people who do most of their shopping at Kroger.
Sometimes I regret getting a card after I have done so. The interest rates get me down, the "fine print" comes through in the first or second statement, etc. But not with my Slate card from Chase. There was no fine print. There were no hassles. The interest rate was low. This card is cut and dry. No crazy strings attached to it. I got a great credit line that makes Christmas shopping easy and affordable. I pay it all back when I get my income taxes back. This card definately makes my life a lot easier. I don't know what I would do without my Slate card from Chase.
Discover More Card - 18 Month Promotional Balance Transfer is the perfect card for me. I don't use many of the frills and such on any of my credit cards so I basically look at customer service and interest rates. You do get a percentage back from your purchases which helps everybody. I lost my card a while back and had to get a replacement.. I was afraid of having to deal with this process but truth be told it took all of about 10 minutes to cancel the one account and make a new one. I had my new card in the mail in a few days. There is not an annual fee which is surprising because most reward cards charge these fees. the interest rates of this card is decent... The only thing is you have to have excellent credit to get this card. I highly recommend it because it is simple, reliable and affordable.
Well, I am surprised and thrilled to have this card. My family buys alot of music and entertainment. Our lives are based on this type of stuff! Plus restaurants? Could it get much better? I think not. I get rewards for purchasing the things I love and would purchase anyways. The interest rate is very comparable if not better than most reward cards. It is a give in that if you are using a reward card than they charge a bit more than other card. I think people think of this card as a joke because it is labeled with MTV but really it is a great card. No problems at all just lots of reward opportunities. Thanks MTV Visa Card From Capital One!
IberiaBank Visa Select Credit Card is definately one of my favorites! Easy to deal with customer service. I lost my card a while back and within a few days of reporting it they had cancelled the old one and sent me a new one. No questions, fees, or hassles. Simple, Simple, Simple. That's what I look for in a card. I do all my statement and credit card stuff online and paying my bill every month is a breeze. I will say that you have to have GREAT credit to get this card. Which in our economy is not that easy. The annual fee of $35.00 is decent. No complaints coming from my end. Thanks IberiaBank Visa Select Credit Card for making my everyday life a little easier. :)
Capital One is one of my credit card companies. They give decent rates to people that don't have decent credit. I had a few bad credit ratings due to some hospital bills when I was younger. Therefore I didn't have good credit and not many cards would accept me. I could not get my credit recovered without a card to help me. That's when I found the Capital One Classic Platinum Credit Card. I have paid all my bills on time, have gotten a credit line increase. The interest rate is a bit high but that is expected when you have low credit. Hopefully soon I will be able to get other cards and then a car loan. They do credit line increases automatically when they feel that you have earned it. I had to talk to the customer service one time about something silly and it went well. No complaints on my end.
I love my Discover card. As with all Discover cards, this one is one of the best. I use this as an everyday purchase card so I can accumulate miles. :) To me, I love the miles. It saves us money when traveling, which my husband and I do all the time. These miles are available to use at multiple airlines not just a particular one at a particular time. Which in my opinion is one of the greatest aspects. This is not usually an option for most mile reward cards. Discover is definately one of the best cards available. Highly recommended to anyone. Especially if you are using the card to build up mile rewards.
I love my Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express. It is definately one of the better cards. The rewards are my favorite part about the card. Having the miles works great to visit my son who is going to school across the country. We use this card fro everyday purchases so we can accumulate more miles. More miles means more times to see my boy. The annual fee is a bit steep if you are not going to take advantage of the rewards. There customer service department is good. They are helpful and very knowledgeable. The hold time is not that bad when you call with a problem and most things can be answered in the frequently asked questions section of the website.
I realize that using a credit card simply for rewards, or cash back bonuses is not the wisest idea. But if you are going to have to use a credit card anyways, why not get something back? That's my thinking. You never get that much cash back but it does make it slightly better than most. Discover gives me cash back for my purchases. That's is really one of the main reasons I like this card. I had an issue paying my bill and it didn't go through when paying online and I thought it did. They were very understanding and waived the late fee. I thought that was really cool of them. The representative I spoke to was very helpful and professional. She was quick to resolve the issue. I give Discover a 4/5 stars, simply because no credit card would ever live up to a 5.
I got this card because Chase offered a rebate after spending a certain amount within a certain period of time. Chase has always been good to me. I had some fraudulent charges a few months ago and they handled it quickly. I had been on vacation and used my card at a little shop, apparently they had kept my information and then purchased items using my card. All I had to do was call them and they investigated and figured out what had happened. I didn't have to pay a dime of the money and felt relieved that I didn't have to go through huge issues and red tape. Thank you Chase! You are amazing.
I love my Disney Dollars... Who wouldn't. The 100 sign on bonus was pretty cool. I pay my bills and stuff using this card and then pay off the monthly balance.. woo hoo... more disney dollars for me. I am planning a family vacation for next year, we are going to Disney! works out perfect and I can use up all my rewards there. Save me and my family a bunch of money. I don't really care for cards that charge annual fees, but the rest of the card and what it offers make up for it completely. With a low interest rate of 14 % I like this card. Yes you have to spend a lot to get a lot, but when in life do you ever get anything for free... If you are going to use a credit card you might as well use one that gives back to you.
I have been with Amex since I was old enough to get credit. My favorite thing about a charge card is that I have to pay the monthly balance every month, meaning no racking up debt that I can't pay back. Only trouble I have with American Express is that the local businesses in my area don't like to take it, something to do with the fees, they wont offer any further information. I spoke to customer service on a few different occasions and seemed to be taken care of in a quick fashion. Maybe it's just me but I feel that the annual fee is a little steep. However I can't say that as a con because I don't have any other charge cards to compare it with.
I have had this card for a little while now. I haven't used credit cards much so I am unfamilar with alot of the stuff each has to offer. I don't have much credit which is why this one seemed to work the best for me. It's interest rate is pretty high but that is expected with new credit accounts. My credit limit started low but after making payments it's up to $1000.00. I try to pay the entire balance off every month. It has no annual fee which is a huge plus with me. The ability to transfer balances would be nice, because I do have another credit card with a low limit that I would like to transfer to this one.
This card is okay. I have noticed in my area that the amount of retailers participating in amex is dwindling. Thus making it harder to use my card. Whether this is american expresses fault or not I don't know. It could be the mom and pops stores have issues with it. I love the reward factors and the fact that there is no annual fee. Those 2 usually don't come hand in hand. I have scheduled my direct pays using this card and it helps maintain my bills and also gathering reward points in the process. For the most part I love my Blue Sky card.
I have always been a huge fan of AMEX, there cards have always been a blessing to me. I didn't care for the annual fee but sometimes we have to accept things we don't want to. The rewards membership is pretty cool to me. Customer service is decent, a little slow, but all in all satisfactory. I have never actually used the airline credit but am planning a trip in the near future and am looking forward to taking advantage of this.
I got this card a while back when I was having some credit issues. This really helped me regain my good credit score. I have since purchased a vehicle because of my increased credit score. Customer service has always been amazing and online payment options are wonderful. This card is one of the best for people like me who have made some bad credit decisions.
