No credit card needed
For a number of years, card holders have felt swindled by a number of companies due to a lack of clarification and really tiny fine print. But Citi has been instrumental in changing things for the better for card holders. The Simplicity card has definitely made my life a bit more stress free thanks to features like their price protection. I was surprised finding out that after an item I had purchased dropped in price, I was refunded the difference. What card company do you know does that? When I had called in, the representative that helped me was kind and explained things clearly for me. Though the feature doesn't apply to all purchases, just knowing that it’s applicable to certain purchases is enough to restore my faith in the credit card industry. If there is anything I can gripe about, it would be the lack of a rewards program. But that is such a minor thing. All in all, this is a fantastic card and worth having in your wallet.
There are a lot of cards out there that offer no annual fee and some pretty nice rewards that can be used for a variety of things, most notably travel. This card, I've found, has advantages over others. One feature that I found unique and beneficial for a number of people was the educational material they have on their website that provides the means for people to learn how to better manage their money. But what got me was the protection they provide against fraud. The customer support has been incredible; the few times that I have had to call in I was treated with courtesy and respect. This is good card that I highly recommend.
This card states that it offers quality benefits, but in all honesty the only real benefits to it are that you are almost instantly approved and it will help you in improving or repairing your credit, reporting to all three major credit bureaus. There are no credit increases what so ever with this card unless you apply the funds yourself after a probationary period. There is also a security deposit that you will never see again. That is pretty much the only true negative experience with the card in my book. One other thing that I will comment on is that my experiences with customer service have been pretty decent when I have been on the phone with them. While the rates and fees might not be what most people would expect, it's still a decent card to consider if you're looking to restore your credit.
The rewards offered by this card are beyond generous. When I first signed up for it I got several thousand points after my first purchase, which was just incredible. Every time you make a purchase on Sony products you stand to earn around five points per dollar spent. I did notice that the point bonus is slightly lower when you go out to eat at restaurants or a fast food joints; it goes from five points to three. Plus with no APR for your first nine months and a low APR after that, the card pretty much sells itself. Si far the experience using this card has been nothing but positive, and I've been able to use my points on a few things already. This is definitely a card that I would recommend for people looking for a good rewards program.
My wife and I have had this card for a while now, and we have been nothing but happy with the decision to apply for it. The bonus points you earn build up rather quickly, you can get a few forever dollar spent, and they can then be used towards the Hilton rewards system. We have even been able to convert our points into frequent flyer miles, which helps us considerably when traveling. It was easy for us to track the amount of points we had through the Hilton website. Customer service has been relatively good as well, though we only had to call a couple of times, the representatives were friendly just the same. It's a great card, and highly recommended.
The Visa Black Card is intended to give off the idea of prestige and exclusivity. But in fact, the card is more limited than others, and has far less to offer cardholders than most of its competitors. If you're looking to show off your "status" with a prestigious credit card, at least do it with one that offers a greater rewards incentive than this. It should also be noted that you would have to ensure you pay off the balance on the card each month. One feature that a lot of cards have is the various travel assistance services such as insurance for baggage, roadside assistance, and insurance for accidents. The bottom line is that there is very little here to entice potential customers when there are so many more cards out there that offer better benefits with the added bonus of having lower annual fees.
This card comes highly recommended from not only myself, but also friends and family who have similar cards. When I had applied for this card, I wasn't expecting to be instantly approved, so needless to say that was a very pleasant surprise. I got in contact with a customer service representative just to go over the particulars, and I was amazed at how friendly and knowledgeable the representative was. It definitely made the experience more memorable. After my first few purchases and my first payment, its safe to say that I am a very satisfied consumer. I look forward to my continued use of this card and my time with Citi.
The venture card has proven to be a fantastic credit card. The reward miles can add up rather quickly if the card is used on a frequent basis for everyday purchases. If you're keen on ensuring that you pay off the balance each month, the interest rate won't be a problem at all. The Capital One website makes redeeming the points earned through purchases relatively simple. Managing my account has been a positive experience as well, the Capital One website has been very user friendly, and you can set the amount of e-mail alerts you receive. Since I haven't really had a need or a reason to speak with customer service beyond the initial phone call, I don't know if I can really comment on it, but at that time it was agreeable. I definitely look forward to using this card more.
Getting this card was interesting to me. I don't even really know if I can properly convey my experience with the Citi Forward card, but I will do my best. I've had this card for a while now with a pretty good credit line, and the experience overall has been absolutely average. It is a good card with a lot of benefits, such as its reward program. You earn points on purchases that can range from books, restaurants, and movies. You can then redeem those points for things like gift cards. It’s really a nice feature, but it doesn't really wow me. In a market that seems awash in cash back and rewards programs it seems pretty standard, but it does come in handy. Customer service has been a pretty mixed bag. There have been a few instances where I have had to call in with an inquiry or an issue and have had times where I have been treated well and others where CS reps were rude and condescending. I can certainly say that it hasn't outright been a bad experience, but it hasn't stood out as a good one, its average, a happy medium.
I have had this card as a permanent resident in my wallet for a while now, and I have to say, that I really do like this card quite a bit. It has not only simplified the travel arrangement making process, but there is also no annual fee, and no blackout dates. From the very moment I swipe the credit card, to the moment I make the payment, it's all been an enjoyable and genuinely positive experience. I am also very grateful for all the efforts that Amex has taken in ensuring that the card is not only dependable, but also protected from potential fraudulent charges. The customer service has been exceptional. I have been treated with both respect and courtesy in those rare occasions in which I’ve had to speak to a representative. The rewards are also another great perk; being able to redeem those points for Amex gift cards has been wonderful since we don't really get that many opportunities to travel often. All in all, having this card has been a very positive experience.
I've had this card for a while now and it has proven to be a quality choice many times over. The strengths of this card alone far outweigh any negatives like the $450 annual fee. For example, there is a terrific concierge service, an airport lounge program, and several promotional opportunities. Then there is also protection features like the 3 month coverage from theft, and protection on many items you purchase. You can also send an item to Amex for a complete refund minus shipping if the initial retailer refuses to take an item back, and at up to several hundred dollars per item, which is great for items with no return policy. Customer service has also been absolutely brilliant, and at least as far as I'm concerned, these experiences alone have validated the high value of the credit card.
I got the Capital One Secured Mastercard a few months ago, and since that time it has been not only reliable but also a wise decision on my part. I decided to go through Capital One because aside from being a well known credit card company, it also had the lowest initial deposit I have personally experienced. I received the card within a few weeks, but at the time it hadn't come with a welcome packet. So I called the 800 number and spoke to a very helpful and genuinely concerned representative who went ahead and resent the kit with no hassle at all. I have had nothing but good experiences with this card, and since having it my credit score has gone up a bit. Capital One has so far done an outstanding job accurately reporting payments and increases in credit. I am more than looking forward to my continued use of this card.
Recently got this card and was definitely impressed with the perks such as the flexible reward program, and the APR of 15%, which is low when compared to other rewards cards that charge more than that. When my wife and I signed up for it, there was even a generous signup bonus. Since we travel a lot, the fact that we get to use some of the earned points towards airfare and hotel stays is incredible. My wife and I have found it to be better to link it to our checking for automatic payments, that way we don't really worry about late fees. It has definitely been the most flexible card we've seen and used, and with no annual fee, we're looking forward to using it more often.
I use this card regularly, and love the benefits that come with it. The introductory rate of 0% and the no interest on purchases for 15 months have helped substantially in my decision to recommend this card. I have been extremely happy with my Discover card. One of the other major benefits has definitely been the cash back on purchases and the rewards for paying on time, which is completely unique in my honest opinion. Other than that, it is worth noting that the billing cycle is very good and a very gracious grace period are both good perks. All in all I have had nothing but good experiences with this particular card.
My family and I use this card, as well as bank with Wells Fargo. The introductory rate of 0% was fantastic and exactly the sort of thing that most other card companies should offer. By in large, I have been extremely happy with my Wells Fargo Platinum credit card since receiving it over a year ago. One of the other major benefits was that their high credit line. Other than that, it is worth noting that the billing cycle is very good and a very gracious grace period of thirty days for amounts paid in full is also an added perk. All in all I have had nothing but positive experiences with this card.
