No credit card needed
I applied for this card because I have had previous history with Capital One credit cards and have no problems. I wanted to focus on a card that didn't have interest rate for an extended period, and I also wanted some incentive for transferring other balances to this card. Not having an annual fee already sets this credit card different than others. Also, they were offering no interest until 2015, which is amazing. Transferring balances also allowed me to not have an interest rate for an extended period of time as well. Not paying interest is something that I primarily focus on because interest rates can really make more of a hassle on the situation. After the no interest has ended, the regular interest rate isn't too high compared to other credit cards. I felt that it was worth it to apply and use this card.
One of the great things about owning The British Airways Visa Signature Card is the initial bonus you get for signing up for the card. Most travel credit cards do offer an initial bonus of milage, but the British Airways Visa will give you more bonus milage after an initial purchase. They also offer a high miles per dollar credit, which comes in handy if you are a traveler. The annual fee may be a little high, but with the bonuses and milage that you earn it can be overlooked. The 15% interest rate is a little steep, but the pros does outweigh the cons. The British Airways Visa does give the customer many advantages that can be used for traveling, or just basic everyday charges.
I have had a Buckle store credit card for a couple of years now. I applied for the credit card because I tend to do most of my shopping at this store. I was approved for a good amount of credit, so at the time I was content. The interest rate on the credit card is a little high, but compared to other store credit cards it seems around the same percentages. One thing I don't particularly like about the credit card is the fact that you don't get many reward points. Most of their clothes are pretty pricey, so I would think they would give their customers more of a reward since we shop and charge there. Another thing is that they keep raising my limit every 6 months. They don't inform me of a limit increase, but when I call before I do think about charging, I notice my credit limit has increased again.
The Capital One QuicksilverOne credit card is my first credit card that I have applied for after rebuilding my credit. I applied for the credit card because it did not require excellent credit as one of their requirements. I was approved for $500 and I was pleased that this wasn't a secured credit card. One of the benefits for this card is receiving the cash rewards on purchases I make. Being able to trade in those points and use them to something I want is a great advantage. Also, having the cash back rewards not expire is a great deal too. The only thing that can be a disadvantage is the interest rate. Although it isn't high, it also can be a disadvantage if you don't pay the bill in full. I would recommend this card for people who have just rebuilt their credit scores.
The First Premier Credit Card is a great credit card if you are trying to rebuild your credit. I personally had to apply for this credit card due to my credit scores being very low. It has helped me rebuild my credit, but it takes time. There is a downfall about this credit card and it is the processing fee. This processing fee seems to be a little higher than most other credit cards. On top of the processing fee, there is also an annual fee that is taken immediately. This does not leave you with a lot of open credit after all the fees are processed. Interest Rate is very high as well, so if you want to avoid being charged a lot, make sure you pay each payment in full so you can avoid any interest charges. If you need to rebuild your credit then this would be a good credit card to start off with.
The Walmart Credit Card has some great advantages when it comes to other credit cards. One of the things I love the most is saving 15 cents per gallon on gas. With gas prices rising, saving 15 cents can really make a big difference. Another great advantage they offer is that because it is a discover card, you can use it anywhere and for anything. The credit card is not specifically for Walmart use, so being able to use it at other locations and stores is a great help. Not paying an annual fee is a help because most cards require that. The only thing I don't like is only receiving $20 back on your first purchase. I would like to receive just a little more back on the purchases I make at Walmart.
