Not a fan of any prepaid card to be fair in this review. It's a replacement for a checking account, although checking accounts have quite a bit more to offer than a silly prepaid card. It seems like this would be a card to use to just escape bank fees, but there are multiple ways to not get fees at your bank. This card also charges you $4.95 a month! There are plenty of prepaid cards that do not charge anything. Although, the atm fees are quite small compared to other prepaid cards.
Definitely one of my favorite cards. They do bonuses on and off when you open he card. When I was approved, I was given $150.00 for spending $500 in the first two months. This card has great cash rewards. It's 1% on everything, and then randomly they will give you additional abilities to earn up to 5% cash back on specific purchases, such as gas or groceries. Chase also has a great customer service calling office. Very easy to deal with.
I love using my Target in store credit card. I applied for it right after I bought a home, so my credit was not that great, but I was still approved. The APR is rather high, but I pay it off before I incur any interest charges. Even though Target has that fraud scandal, the 5% off and free shipping definitely came in handy this Christmas. So many stores didn't have what I wanted in the actual store, but so many products are available online, so Christmas was a breeze. It will also come in handy for the extra 30 days I have to return items. I'm always late on those! Overall I give this card a 4 star review. It would be nice if it gave points or something for every time you use it, but it has still come in as a life saver!
I love this card from Bank of America. It gives me so much cash during the year, that I barely have to save up for Christmas. It gives that little extra boost. It also helps if you drive for the majority of your living. The only thing I did not like about this card was that you can only transfer over in $25.00 intervals. With my Capital One card, I can transfer over as much as I want, whenever I want. I also did not like the fact that you could only receive the $100.00 bonus if you signed up online. I would have liked to speak to someone in person about the card, but really wanted that $100.00 bonus for signing up and spending $500.00.
