The rewards and incentives for this card seem like a very good deal. I typically do not leave a balance on my card so the interest rate is not an issue for me. If you take advantage of all of the rewards, you can really save a lot of money.
I have had the Spirit Airlines Credit Card for about 8 months now. We use this credit card as our main method of payment to earn miles. So far, we have booked a number of flights and have saved a lot of money. There are some negatives, however. Some flights cost an insane amount of miles and are not worth using your points. Also, there are blackout dates where you cannot book a flight. Overall, If you don't have very specific flight plans and are able to book in advance, you can really take advantage of this card.
I definitely will not be applying for this card. Fees upon fees with little to no incentives tell me this is not the card to have. There are plenty of other cards out there that will be far less of a headache to deal with.
As much as you could potentially save with this card I really have no need for it. While I have no problem with what my wife buys from the store I don't want to give her a reason to come home with more of the same stuff. To make this card better I'd like to see a more versatile rewards incentive including more stores.
I currently have the Spirit Rewards card and have strongly considered moving to the Chase Sapphire Card. The incentives are great. I rarely go into debt with credit cards so the high interest rate is not a concern to me.
This card is great for the Belk fans out there. My mother frequents the store a lot and uses her card to her advantage. If you only go to the store a few times a year then I would consider a different option. Some cards give 2 points for every dollar which may give you more rewards. Overall this card is a fair way to save some money at Belk.
