The Dillard's store card is a decent option if you tend to shop there a lot. The 10% initial discount is a nice perk. I recommend waiting until you have a few large purchases, then getting the card to receive that discount, so that you maximize your savings. The point system is also not too bad for those who shop there frequently. What may seem like a small perk can really add up over the years.
The NFL credit card is a decent option for those who are really into football. The interest rate and point system are similar to other reward cards, but if you like the game and enjoy shopping for football related items, you may find this one worthwhile.
This is a decent card if you already shop at Banana Republic, The Gap and Old Navy. The bonus and the discount and the reward points make it valuable for someone who buys their clothes at this store regularly. However, you'll want to pay off the card monthly, since the percentage rate is pretty high.
For those individuals who have a Kroger store nearby and who shop there often, this is a good card to consider. The 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers is always a nice perk. The gasoline benefit and the shopping points are also useful, but again only if you use Kroger regularly. I think that would be the primary consideration: If you always shop there, then this is a good card to use, but if not, then I would see no reason to apply for it.
This is a great card for people with good credit. The initial reward of points and the $50 credit is very appealing. They also offer several useful features such as no pre-set limit and travel assistance. The interest rate could be a little lower, but is not atypical for cards of this type. If you use your card for travel-related expenses, especially through expedia, this card is an excellent choice and I would highly recommend it.
The Capital One Platinum Credit Card offers decent features, although nothing outstanding. The no fee first year is nice, although the interest rate is high, especially given the very low federal rates we currently have. It would also be nice if it offered a rewards program. That being said, it is good that they offer increased limits as time progresses and that there are multiple ways to pay your bill. Being able to set your own due date is also a handy feature.
