The American Express Serve card is an alternative to having a bank account. There is a minimal monthly fee, but if you are one to get lots of overdrafts with a regular checking account you will still come out way ahead with this card. The free ATM withdrawals and no canccellation fee are also very nice. This is one of the nicer cards to help substitute for a bank account. This is not a credit card.
The Blue Sky from American Express Card is a nice rewards card. There's no annual fee which is very important for this level of reward card and the zero percent intro rate for 15 months is a nice added bonus. The APR is typical to other reward cards I have had. This card is for those who have a good credit rate and pay off their balances every month to maximize their rewards.
The British Airways Visa Signature Card is a decent travel rewards credit card. It does have a high annual fee, but this common on travel rewards cards. As long has you travel enough to earn enough rewards to surpass the fee, it is worth it. The interest rate is again high, but this is common with travel cards. Reward card users should be paying off their balances to maximize their rewards anyways.
The Western Union Prepaid Master Card is not a card for everyone. It has a specific audience. Those looking to build up their credit without having to deal with fees that only hurt them more. The monthly fee attached to this card can be waived with a $100 month direct deposit, which, if you are using the card correctly should never be a problem.
The Guitar Center Store Card seems good on paper for the most part. It has a nice intro APR rate and no annual fee. However, it has a pretty high APR after the intro for such a basic card. Most cards with those rates have rewards. I know this from a reward and basic card that I already use. This type of card also gives the impression that it would be a reward card, not a generic credit card with a pretty picture on the front.
