No credit card needed
I'm a college student and this card is a great way to start building small credit on a very limited budget, although it is a basic card with no rewards its still a nice card to have. I use mine for purchases such as gas and food. You do not have to have a bank account with PNC, I just went in place my security deposit and a week or two later I received my card
The Buypower card is great an amazing rewards system with a base of two percent on everything and a max of five percent. There is no limit on your rewards either and they never expire or go away. With a pretty low apr and no annual fees it is a card that needs to be had. Also a low cash advance fee and almost a month long grace period if you for got to pay your monthly bill on time which is something now a days that is hard to come by in terms of grace on your bills
Citi always has pretty solid credit cards and they did it again with this one The Citi Diamond Preferred card is a good credit card if you are look for the basics a good APR, no annual fees. although this is a good card when looking a the base line there is no rewards program for the credit card which might have you back off since most cards now a days have some sort of rewards program may it be point based or even cash back. overall though a decent card.
Lord & Taylor credit card is a great store credit card if you shop there often it will benefit you greatly. when you sign up you immediately get 15% off your purchase which is great when you think about how much you normally would spend at Lord & Taylor on an average visit. Also there are no annual fees and a long grace period if you forget to pay on time. The rewards system is the only thing that could use a slight boost and it would get a five star from me.
The Platinum Card seems does not seem like a card that has many benefits the first problem is that the annual fee is four hundred fifty dollars which is a huge amount, although if you can get approved for a platinum card that might not be much money for you. The rewards program has much to be desired with no cash back rewards and a large spending amount before any type of bonus given to the spender.
The BankAmericard Cash Rewards credit card is great for anyone, with a great cash back reward system a great customer service base there is much you could ask for. Since it is a credit card depending on your credit this card can have a pretty low APR which is great because no one wants to pay interest. There is not much wrong with this card so my advice would be to apply
This card really has its down sides, there are a large amount of fees and charges attached to this card. There is a $4.95 monthly fee and on top of that for every single atm use there is a two dollar charge. While yes the point system is nice if you ever have questions about it or just want to check the status of your card you are going to be charged a dollar if you speak to an automated system or two dollars if you speak to a person. I feel that this is a bit excessive for fees on just a prepaid debit type card.
The Marriott Rewards credit card is an amazing choice for the business person. It offers a great point based reward system which can be used for travel and stays at Marriott hotels all-round the world. When looking at fees it does have a forty-five dollar annual fee but when looking at the benefits gets paid for tenfold every month if you are the type of person that travels frequently for work or even pleasure. Take a good look at this card it really has benefits for every type of person.
When looking at everything in consideration the Walmart Prepaid card is a good option for someone who is just starting out with using credit/debit cards and needs to get their feet wet in learning how to use them. It is easy to reload with extremely minimal fees, only a three dollar monthly charge that’s nothing compared to some prepaid cards that want to charge around five a month and then charge another three or four dollars when using a different ATM. Over all I give this Walmart prepaid card Five Stars!
