At 15.99% the APR is what most cards are offering. The really bad part is the Penalty APR, almost 30%. So if you miss a payment and get subjected to the penalty rate almost 1/3 of your payment would be interest. This card has chip and sign which is a good security feature, should virtually eliminate unauthorized transactions. This card has an annual fee which is terrible. However if you travel often, the card might be worth it to you, Since you earn towards free airline tickets.
While still high this card has a slightly lower APR for purchases and balances transfers then my other cards. The best feature of this card is the free FICO score. Knowing you score is very important and Discover prints it on you monthly statements. Overall the rewards are inferior when compared to the Chase Freedom card ,except at gas stations. Discover give you 2% cash back which can add up quickly. You can also increase the rewards by shopping through discovers mall. Which is similar to other reward cards
Like most credit cards there is a rather high APR for purchases and cash advances. It has excellent rewards program. The signup bonus is basically a 20% cash back reward. Which is the highest I've seen recently. Unlike other reward cards that only give you 1% cash back, Chase gives you 5% back in selected categories. You just have to remember to enroll every 3 months. This is an excellent card so anyone who can pay off their balance in full every month. If you are able to do that Chase is paying you to use the card.
The card has a rather high APR for purchases and a extremely high ARP for cash advances. The rewards are terrible and appear wrong. 2.5 Points per dollar spent should be 2.5% cash back not 5%. Unlike other credit cards you only get rewards for shopping at Best Buy. Chase Freedom give you 1% everywhere and 5% at certain locations. It appears the rewards certificate will only be valid at Best Buy, unlike other reward cards where you can pick what reward you want.
