The Velero Credit Card is definitely not the greatest card out there. The high interest of 23% really puts this card at the bottom. However, if you are paying off your total amount each time you use it before the interest kicks in the gas savings could add up. If you have a vehicle that consumes a lot of gas this may work great for you. Saving up to $0.08 a gallon can add up quick.
Wow! If you are big traveler the BankAmericard Travel Rewards Card is perfect for you. This card has amazing bonuses with fairly low spending requirements to meet get those rewards. Also, the 0% introductory for 12 months offer is amazing. Using the bonus points for flights, hotels, car rentals, and tons more is a great offer. All of this matched with the fairly low interest rate and the annual 10% bonus makes this card a must have.
The Journey Student Rewards from Capital One isn't the best student card I have seen out there. The 1% (possibly up to 1.25%) cash back is not the greatest when comparing to other cards. However, for a starter credit card this isn't to bad. The 19.8% APR is not extremely high and at least you do receive some type of incentive to use the card and pay on time.
The L.L. Bean card is a must have for those outdoor enthusiasts. Earning 3% back on L.L. Bean purchases and 1% on all other purchases to use towards a future purchase there is great. Not to mention, you get free returns and free monogramming at L.L. Bean! Overall this is a great card.
The Marathon Card has some really great incentives but the amount threshold needed to spend before those incentives kick in are quite high. This card would be a lot better if you received those incentives every time you used your card. The interest rate is just about on par with others out there. Overall this is a decent card but could be better.
