I haven't received my card yet but it seems like a great deal. Basically there aren't any late fees or penalty rates, and the interest rate is particularly low. This sounds like the perfect card for a struggling college student like myself. What college student isn't struggling anyways? Citi Simplicity is the perfect name for this card because they make things simple which is the way they are supposed to be. I wish there were rewards but honestly they're rewarding you enough.
I think the Limited Credit Card is cool. Like they said, I received my card in the mail and got 15% off of my first purchase which was a microwave for my mom. I feel like I have so much more in store because my birthday is coming up and they give you rewards on your birthday month. And I'm almost at that three hundred dollar mark so I can get a free fifteen bucks shortly which I'm gonna use to help me purchase a birthday gift for my sister. All in all, its a great card.
The Loft Credit Card is pretty neat due to the fact that if you spend money at Loft or even outside of Loft you can get money back to shop with. $20 for every 2000 points isn't that bad and can come in handy. My wife loves this and takes advantage of the rewards. I mean, hey what's better than free money? This would be a great gift to get for your wife, mother, aunt, sister, etc.. The interest rates are a little high but I don't think that's a big factor for this card.
The Walmart Prepaid Card isn't really that convenient. I don't see why a person would want to use this over their debit card. There's a monthly fee which I don't agree with, and I believe that it would make much more sense to have a one time activation fee instead. I mean its basically a gift card, so what are you charging me monthly for? If I were to ever purchase on of these cards it would be to give it away as a gift. I'm just not interested in this.
The Visa Black Credit Card is a decent card that is more aimed towards higher middle class people and up. There is a $500 annual fee which is pretty ridiculous. Plus you have to spend $1,500 just to receive a gift and I'm not a fan of that. There are a lot of perks for card members, but I don't believe I'll ever be one of those. But for the people who have the money to spare I'd suggest that they get this card. If you travel a lot then you can even receive complimentary membership to a bunch of lounges and what not.
