I have to agree with others here who are of the opinion that the First PREMIER Bank MasterCard Credit Card may be a very poor choice for those attempting to rebuild their credit. The interest rates are very high, and the initial amount of credit is too low. I think the Horizon Gold Card may be a much better option than this one, if you have no other choice. The Horizon card has a 500.00 credit line, and lower interest rates. It really is too bad that those who are genuinely trying to pay off their debts and improve their credit are taken further advantage with these so called offers.
In my opinion the Marriott Rewards card is one of the best available rewards cards on the market today for those with good credit. The rewards you can earn make using this card more much more affordable than most, especially for frequent travelers. You can earn 3 points for each dollar spent at Marriot locations, 1 point for each dollar you spend everywhere else, and more. I also really love that there is no limit on the points you can earn. There's really nothing I don't like about this card. The only other card I would recommend for earning maximum rewards for frequent travelers would have to be the Marriott Rewards Premier card.
In my opinion the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards card is the best rewards credit card on the market right now. It earns an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase, and the cash back you earn never expires. It also has a low APR. The regular interest rate for purchases is fairly typical, but the perks definitely make up for it. This is a great card for those with fair credit, or a limited credit history needing to build their credit.
The First Progress Platinum Prestige Secured Credit card is a great card for those just starting out, or trying to rebuild their poor credit rating. This is one of the cards I started out with before I qualified for unsecured credit, and it really did help my credit rating quite a bit. One of the things I like most about this one is that the security deposit is refundable, unlike some others, and that there are no monthly maintenance fees. Overall this is not a bad card to start out with compared to some others out there. I give this one a 4 out of 5 star rating.
The Kroger 1-2-3 Rewards Visa Credit card is one of the cards I use most for grocery shopping. It has a great low regular interest rate, and great perks. Among my favorites are the 3 points I earn for every dollar I spend on Kroger products, 1 point for every dollar I spend wherever visa is accepted, and the $5.00 in free groceries for every 1,000 points I earn to name just a few. I also like the 0% interest rate on purchases for the fist 9 months, and the low 3% balance transfer fee. I would highly recommend considering this card to anyone who does a lot of shopping at Kroger's markets. This card definitely deserves 5 stars.
The Visa Black card is mediocre at best. I find that the interest rates and fees are fairly high, and the perks don't really come close to making up for it. Unless you simply don't care how you throw your money around, I would not recommend getting this card. The only thing I really like about this card is the 12 month 0% intro period. If you are a frequent traveler looking for a better option, I recommend checking out the Platinum card from American Express. In my opinion the interest rates, and rewards are much better. Overall I still give the Visa Black card a 3 star rating because even though it may not be the best choice out there, it's also not the worst.
I just recently started using the Sony Card from Capital One, and honestly can't say enough positive things about it. If you frequently purchase and use Sony products like my family does, then I highly recommend checking this card out. It has a 0% interest rate until July of 2014, and has a relatively reasonable regular interest rate after that. It also offers great perks such as the points you can earn with each purchase. I earn 5 points for every dollar spent on Sony purchases at authorized retailers, 3 points for each dollar spent dining out, and 1 point for each dollar spent on any other purchases I make. I give this card a 5 star rating.
I really like the Walmart store card, and use it often. I have other store cards that are great as well, but this is the one we use most frequently when it comes to meeting most of all our household needs and wants such as groceries, furniture, electronics, and so on. We also really appreciate the cash back per gallon on gas purchases, which we use frequently. Running a business that requires a lot of travel time can get really expensive when it comes to fuel, so this is a great feature. The special financing feature is also a great perk. I would recommend this card to those looking for a store card with decent perks.
I have been using the Capital One Platinum Prestige card for just a short time now, and can honestly say that I'm very satisfied with it. This is a great card for those of us with a decent credit rating. With a 0% interest rate until December 2014, and a low regular interest rate after that, you really can't go wrong with this card. To avoid personal debt as much as possible I don't like to use my credit cards very often, but when I need to this is the one I usually use. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone looking for a card with low interest rates, and a lot of great perks.
I have had the Discover More card for less than a year, but can honestly say that so far I am very pleased with it. I love that it has 0% interest for the first 12 months, and the cash back feature is great too. I also like that the regular interest rate on this card is much lower than many out there such as the Capital One Classic Platinum card, which has an outrageous interest rate in my opinion. So far I have not encountered any real issues using this card, and any minor issues have been promptly resolved to my satisfaction. The customer service team members are very fast, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend this card to anyone looking for a card with great interest rates and perks.
In my opinion the Walmart Money Card is the best out there. I love that there is a low monthly fee of just $3.00, and that that fee can be waived when you reload $1,000.00 in the previous month. Balance inquiries are also free via phone, internet, and text. There are no ATM fees if you use this card at MoneyPass ATM locations. Reloading the card is also free when using direct deposit, or Walmart's check cashing service. I have had this card for over a year now, and have not had to pay a single fee yet. If you're looking for a great prepaid card to pay bills, and make other purchases with, you really can't beat this one. I would strongly recommend this card to anyone.
The United Mileage Plus Explorer Business Credit Card really is a great card to choose for earning unlimited travel points, and all the other features are great too. There is really nothing negative to say about this card compared to the others that are out there. I also have a Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, and think that The United Mileage Plus Explorer Business Credit Card is a little better as far as the miles you can earn. At least it has been for me. I would highly recommend checking out this card to anyone looking to earn maximum miles, because it really is one of the best cards out there, if not the best.
