Back in September 2017, AAA Roadside Assistance
replaced my car battery. It came with a three-year
warranty. Several months later, the battery kept
dying on me. I had my mechanic thoroughly check my
car's electrical system and he found nothing
Last night, the battery died in the parking lot at work, and I decided I'd had enough. So this morning I contacted AAA to come replace the battery. The person who showed up was a surly, dirty little man who looked like they recruited him either in the bus terminal or a rehab. The bum basically charged the battery and said it was fine. I told him the battery kept failing and I wanted a replacement as it was still under warranty. The bum said, "Nope, it's not my battery." He then began to mock me.
When I called d AAA to complain, they gave me a song and dance about why they weren't replacing the battery, and insisted I obtain a note from my mechanic. When I told them about how the the bum treated me, their response was, "Oh well..."
My mechanic, by the way, told me that AAA has crappy batteries and they always give customers a hard time when they fail.
AAA sucks and I'm in the process of finding a new company. They think they're still a monopoly and they act that way, but, thankfully, they're not.… read more
