BEWARE OF THIS BANK!
I responded and got a CC from a piece of snail mail I received offering 21 months 0% APR for the Regions Premier credit card. Made a purchase and went to set up online banking. While this process in itself took way too long and required several phone calls to a system that makes one hold on average about 15 minutes per shot, my online banking was unable to be connected to my non-Regions bank. Each of the three times I tried to remedy this, it was suggested "You could open a Regions account..." NO THANKS! Give me good customer service and a competent online experience first, then you may earn my business.
The story really only begins here. To pay, I went into a local branch and met with a nice woman. After being on hold herself for OVER 30 MINUTES (for online chat support) while I sat there, I was told to call in myself for help. I'd had it; I ordered checks from my bank (it's 2018- I NEVER need checks), I went in today and paid off the card after nearly a month of trying to do so.
This is not a story of someone who misused a credit card, or blames the bank for something they themselves did- this bank is stuck in the 20th century with terrible phone support, long online wait times and crappy overall service (except for the nice lady at the branch).
