I've been a member of DCU since it's inception and
I could not be happier in my personal account.
As a new business owner however I found the account opening process extremely frustrating. The business application for checking and savings is complex and it took me over 6 conversations with the phone representatives, during which I had to insist that they actually call the business new account department, to find out what was missing.
When I finally got the account up and running today and was ready to deposit a check, I was told that I had to wait one day while I was "registered" for online deposit.
Although ostensibly a nation-wide banking facility, DCU's processes punish the remote business banking customer.
Another day of interest on those business credit cards, thanks to DCU and their non-nonsensical business processes for the remote business customer.… read more
