Customer service was pretty good, every time i called asking questions there was someone there who is friendly and helped me out. The application process was very simple, they sat down with me and walked me through the entire process and nothing was too hard and it was not too long. The disclosure was clear although it was in the literature I would have liked to have been told more in person. And I have yet to have a problem so the problem resolution i cant say much about.
It's so hard these days to find anything which really is what the company advertises. With 1ST BANK Totally Free Checking, on the other hand, I get exactly what they're advertising: a checking account with no strings attached. I hated when my old bank would take fees from me when my balance was low, because it's like paying a poor tax. I also hated the idea of paying the bank for operating an account when it was in there interest that I simply had one. I like what I get at 1st BANK, because it is easy, reliable, and costs me nothing.
I define my banking experience both by the quality of services provided and by the quality of the employees delivering that service to me. With a name like 1st Bank, you should expect the very best in both categories. I don't know if I would go that far, but I have never been very dissatisfied by them. One very nice thing is that they have very convenient ATM locations where I live, which is the first time I've been with a bank that could make such a claim. I am always greeted by friendly tellers whenever I come in to make a deposit, and I get what I want most from a bank visit: in and out quickly.
Family Trust 1st Bank is not a bad bank but they have limited access for ATM that are not available in my area. I have accounts in a number of different banks and this is one probably the one I use the least. I was living in a location where this bank was serving but since moving, I have not been using my accounts in this bank due to not having any branches in my area. Every time I use my ATM card, I am slammed with various charges which does not make a smart choice for me. I do have a small loan with this bank and it is automatically drafted from my account every month. They do provide good customer service but overall this bank does not serve my needs anymore.
Family Trust 1st Bank is overall a good place to bank. I've always gotten good customer service. I first opened an account when I was shopping around for a car loan to purchase a vehicle for my mom. They had the best rates in town, so I opened a checking account with them as well. I can have the car loan payment automatically withdrawn from my checking account every month with no fees, which is nice. The application process was fairly lengthy, but they walked me through it. The only downside for me is that the location is not close to where I live and work and the ATM' are not close either. But they do return my fees from other ATM in the area once I reach a max (which I always do because I am always at an ATM for something). I plan on keeping my account as I've had no problems thus far.
I've used 1st Bank for a few years and I wanted to have a way to thank them for all of their effort of keeping another customer happy. So I'm doing my deed by rating their service and overall experience with them. I've been very grateful having 1st Bank as my first bank account. Many benefits to this bank, especially if you're a student. Customer service is also grade A. They have been more than helpful with many of my inexperienced questions. I am a loyal customer to this bank and will keep using as long as the bank is still in business which I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.
I’m a year with First Bank and let me say you can trust these guys. I got a checking account which I use in paying up bills and making other transactions. They always give me feed back if the check was cleared on that date or not and they always update me on my spending, so I don’t go over limit or one of my checks ends up bouncing. In my years with this bank I have never encountered any hassles whatsoever. Customer service is fine and good. My feedback to them is always positive. They always aim to satisfy me need and they treat me as a valued customer not just another policy to them. Great bank.
You can trust First Bank to make your banking a pleasant experience with no hassles. Their personal checking account is absolutely free and requires no minimum daily balance. There is no monthly service charge and no requirement to make direct deposits. It is also loaded with several other free features like free eStatements, transfer of funds, bill pay, mobile banking and so on. A regular Savings Account requires a minimum daily balance of $100. If you do not maintain this daily balance in your account, you will be charged a $5 per quarter Service Charge. The bank's employees are also very friendly and are always there to solve your problems in an efficient manner thus making you feel financially secure.
In my experience with 1st Bank I have had very little trouble throughout the loan process. The customer service has reasonable hours and is very helpful. They have pretty decent rates on their loans, not the best around, but the simplicity and speed of the application process really made up for the tenth of a percent I may have saved by going to another union. Overall I'd say 4 out of 5 for my experience with 1st bank. I would tell others to use their services if they needed them. No real issues throughout. I found out about their loans through Google and I am glad I did or else getting my loan may have been a nightmare, as I have heard it is for so many people.

I live around one of the 1st Bank branches, so I thought it was about time I opened a checking account in one of the banks right close to my home. I went in there and was greeted with a smile by a representative. I told him that I wanted to open a checking account and what options I have and which one would best fit me. He then gave a brief description of the different types of checking accounts they have. Since I am a student, I got the Student Checking Account. Before I had my checking account here I was paying $10 a month at Citibank. Now I save $10 every month which I use in doing some other things I need. It was well over a year since I had my checking account with them. I wanted to get my car loan refinanced so I went in and asked them for the information. They also gave me a very low interest loan on my car and now I have saved almost $3000 through refinancing my car. Overall, I highly recommend this bank to anyone because of the great customer service and friendly staff.
