Alex soon realized that his blood ran the color of real estate following in the tradition of his mother and grandfather. He joined Colley Real Estate in 2001 and moved out on his own with Keller Williams Realty in 2006. Alex quickly stepped up to bat serving on the Advisory Leadership Council for the Green Hills office as well as the Growth Committee. In 2013 Alexander Brandau Real Estate Partners ranked in the top ten groups in Keller Williams southeast region.
Alex’s approach to business is intellectual in many ways and intuitive in others. He has attended Rapport Leadership International as well as graduating from the Core Training. He combines the acquired knowledge and sales techniques with an instinctive flair for how to help people buy and sell what is normally their largest financial asset. He always conducts his business professionally and ethically while doing what is best for his clients. Alex’s goal is to create a relationship for life with his clients and that is evident through his referral driven business.
Alex’s professional commitment is mirrored in his involvement in the industry’s association of Realtors. He has participated in and chaired many committees for the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors. These include the Special Events Committee, the Awards Committee, the Membership Committee and the Young Realtors committee. Alex chaired the Habitat for Humanity effort as well as participated in the Top Producer Panelist Discussions.
Alex has served on the University of Tennessee and the Father Ryan Alumni Board. He volunteered as a Lacrosse Varsity Coach for Father Ryan, served as an Adult Leader and Mentor for the Catholic Youth Organization and participated in the Tomorrow Fund. Alex is now an emeritus member of the Phoenix Club and participated in the Nashville Young Leaders Council Class 53 and the Nashville Junior Chamber of Commerce. Alex loves to give back to the community and that is shown with his involvement with Habitat for Humanity, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Boys and Girls Club, and Meriam’s Promise. Most notably, Alex has recently joined the United Way’s de Tocqueville Society and proudly carries the distinction of being its youngest member.
When not negotiating a real estate transaction Alex spends his time with his wife Liz and their three young children. He is an avid football fan and loves to spend time outdoors be it grilling, golfing or playing in the creek with his kids.
