American First Credit Union

This bank is really good. The tellers are always very friendly and professional. Living in the States where they flourish is a big help. They run deposits and everything else in a timely manner. I would recommend this bank.

I was in a really big bind and American First Credit Union came through quickly for me! I needed a car loan immediately and I applied for the car loan through American First Credit Union in the morning, three hours later I heard back that my loan was accepted. That night at 5:30 my husband and I were sitting at the signing table, and at 7:00 I was able to take home my new car. I love how fast American First worked and how well they kept me informed!

American First is the best bank! I have never had an issue with any fees (there are none!) and I absolutely love the quality of service I receive if I have to come into a branch location. Most of the time if I have a question, I choose the online chat and I am always fixed and solved within a few minutes with a very friendly internet customer service person. I have never felt better about having this credit union in my life, and I refer everyone I know to them. Screw going to banks who cheat you out of your money, American First puts us first, and our money is in the best place it could be!

I have never had one problem with this credit union. They were my first bank and I still use them to this day. I was given a 5star rating do to my parents also having accounts with them including mortgages. Exactly what benefits that carries I am not sure. What I do know is that I receive free checking, free overdraft, and great theft protection. I have had my card number stolen three times and all three times they caught it pretty much immediately. Auto loans and their internet banking are also great. It did take them awhile to develop a smartphone app but they have that now too. My parents have been happy with their mortgage. The only bad thing I can think of is that they are removing their edeposit (paper mail checks to the bank, and the balance is available almost immediately, but with direct deposit, I am sure not many people would need such a service.)
