My mother passed away December 2022 and had a trust account. I have had to be in touch and meet in person with a banker at least 6 times, each time informed of another form that they will require. My mother has been gone more than 2 months, and I still don't have access to this trust account. Once all the hoops have been jumped through, I will be withdrawing all monies from this terrible institution.
American Heritage contacted me about a personal loan told me I was pre approved. Filled out app, thay messaged me that they would call about fund dispersement . Later that day get email the loan was denied, would send a letter. Very dishonest company. I have 2 car loans with them and never been late or missed a payment. Don't apply for a personal loan with them!

My debit card expired in April and never got a replacement. I called customer service to get a new one. There were 75 calls ahead of me, so I waited nearly an hour. When there were only 5 calls ahead of me, the battery on my wireless phone died. So I called back from another wireless phone and you guessed it, 75 calls ahead of me once again. After waiting nearly another hour, I was informed that the reason why I did not get a replacement debit card was because I had not used my debit card and the back office deactivated it. Ok, so I asked to send me a new one. The rep said sure but it will cost you $7 to replace the card. I said it will cost me $7 to replace a card that expired 6 months ago? Do you normally charge for replacement cards when they expire? The rep said no, but since I haven't used the card I would need to pay the fee. What kind of logic is that? The rep offers to talk to back office to waive the fee. I said ok but can you call me back because my phone just beeped again and is about to die just like the last time? I had mentioned this 2 times prior to this last one during the conversation but was ignored 3 times. Anyone reading this must see how frustrating this is, so I eventually just said never mind and I will just go to my branch and close my account. For all the time that I have not used my debit card, I have had tens of thousands of dollars in my regular savings account. I can't believe that this bank can make money with my money and at the same time inconvenience me in this way. I had recommended this bank with friends and family of which several opened accounts. Well, not anymore. Outrageous!

One of the worst credit unions I’ve ever dealt with. It took almost 2 months to join this lowly banking institution. Never told me upfront if you don’t live in Philadelphia might as well not even become a member. Found this after the fact. After becoming a member I applied for a credit card and was approved for 10k….nice, right ? Think again! The approval was reversed because I don’t live in Philadelphia. I was was asked by a representative loan have you tried asking a bank near you? No I’m a member with you guys. Sorry we may not be the best fit for you. Again I’m a member and every time I call Im asked if I want to cancel my membership with a smile on their face on the member video call app. Such resentment is shown to me and beyond judgmental. Zero attempts to push banking products so a symbiotic relationship can exist. Nope zero interest in me despite being a member for over a year. A complete joke. I wish I never became a member
Worst credit union ever! I’ve been a customer more than 15 years and they offer skip a pay twice per year on car payments, credit card payments or other loans. I have taken advantage of this the because having only 1 income in these days and times is tough. I processed my skip a pay early June through the mobile app then saw my car payment due date was not moved to the next payment month like usual. I call and they have NO RECORD of my skip a pay request!!!!! Their mobile app is GARBAGE. If you are doing something important DO NOT EVER USE IT! I have processed skip a pay on the mobile app before and everything worked no problem. I don’t know what happened this time but it has never happened before. Not sure if there was a glitch or hiccup that caused mine not to go through but after speaking with a manager they would not honor it! Said they needed the confirmation number or too bad for me!! I cannot wait until this weekend to remove every dime I have in all 4 of my accounts with and be done with this sorry excuse for a credit union! Credit unions are supposed to be better than a regular bank! Actually care about their members! Nothing but rude “Sorry for your inconvenience” and a big OH WELL attitude!!
Worst financial institution ever. They locked me out of my account for trying to make a $6 purchase after letting some thief steal almost $600 from my account and then hung up on me twice because I was ticked off and upset when I called to try to fix the situation. After having to go there personally the kid at the branch gave me a hard time and sent me away without even letting me know if he was filing the claim to get the money back, and I can't check because I'm still locked out of my account. Worst financial institution ever. If someone recommends this place to you it has to be because they don't like you and want you to have the worst banking experience you'll ever have in your life.
Good make sure you're able to pay back on time or a little ahead of time and you will not have no problem do not take the loan unless you have a steady income

A purchase was fraudulently made on my credit card in November. I immediately went to the bank to cancel my account. They refunded my money. In the meantime the fraudulent package arrived at my house and I did a return to sender and sent it back. The company told American Heritage that the package arrived and that I was responsible for the payment. The company admits the product is back in the warehouse but will not refund my money. American Heritage took back the money they refunded and refuses to do anything stating they can only file a dispute one time. I'm out $160 dollars and endless hours of frustration over fraudulent activity.
Forced my wife to pay am extra 300 dollars a month on her already high car payment because she was missing full coverage in the past. They could have notified her when her insurance wasn't meeting the qualifications but instead they waited it out in order to charge her a huge lump some of cash. She either had to pay almost 900 a month for a car or pay 3000 dollars upfront. Terrible .greedy people never again.
