Who knew BAC would be the last one standing when others bailed on me after my Divorce. But I hung in there made minimal when had too paid it down when could and now they gave me a chance to really walk with pride into any place and not be treated like a beggar of street. I still have my issues with BAC especially the lack customer service but I’m still grateful to them.

Good to know this company does not care about the loyalty of its customers.


Tomorrow is my closing date and today after asking Kevin, for days about my loan estimate and to see if it is updated with correct info, he finally sent it to me and I felt tricked. I knew that up until closing the interest rate can change and me and him verbally locked in a 2.5% interest rate but he just informed me that I will be at a 3.5% interest rate of which I asked him to elaborate on 12/29/2020 but he never did. Believing that it was an APR or will be changed by closing and not hearing back from Kevin about it, I proceeded to believe it would be resolved and Kevin would tell me that I am not qualified for that program if I really wasn’t. Kevin never informed me about the rate going up. I believed it couldn’t automatically be switched to another program unless I approved it. I told Kevin… “I will be happy to move forward with BOA but want to make sure the concession is included and would like to see it in the LE.” I never approved this program, me saying I will be happy to move forward was stating if updates are in the LE which included my buyers concession and new insurance quote are correct, I will move forward, not that I agree with this deal. I would rather have my 2.5% interest rate.
Kevin informed me that my loan process was approved on 2/16/2021, that’s two days before he sent me the updated 3.5% interest rate, of which also led me to believe that my interest rate was locked in at 2.5% still. He didn’t state in that email anything about PMI 3.5% or anything else. I reached out to Kevin’s manager Johnathan Giles-Morgan via email and voicemail about my concerns with Kevin and the loan. HE NEVER REACHED BACK OUT TO ME. Instead he told Kevin I reached out and Kevin did nothing at all. I wanted to speak with Johnathan and express my bad service but nothing happened.
I do feel neglected, disrespected, ignored and tricked. I was lured in asked questions, reached out to higher management, even had other parties reach out to Kevin on my behalf but instead of him communicating, he left me with no choice but to accept a 3.5% interest rate. I can accept this or be completely homeless if I don’t sign and agree to this loan. He ignored all the right questions and never expressed change in my loan within less than 24 hrs before me closing. I have reached out to him consistently to make sure I am ahead of closing but nothing. Now I can face being homeless or a deal that was nothing like what I expected.

I've had this card for about 3 years. Only thing I don't like is the time between credit limit increases. It's a good credit card to build credit, has benefits of cash back rewards on certain purchases and other deals.


BOA isn't all that customer-friendly. The first time I set up auto-pay the rep had to go and set them up 6 months in advance (he complained about doing) as their website wouldn't allow it (2016 LOL).. That was annoying. I made the payment the month he told me I'd have to go back to logging in to make the payment, it was still auto withdrawn luckily I had the extra funds.
