Stupid Logic for Umbrella Insurance

The problem with insurance companies (and why I can't wait for InsuranceTech to eat up all these companies is encapsulated by the stupidity I encountered when talking with RLI Customer Service).

RLI offers insurance of up to 10 properties on their Umbrella (doesnt matter if each property is $50-100K or $10Million each). Its just number vs amount/value.
(stupid underwriters and inability of customer service to even escalate the issue).

When I added a property of just $100K - they would neither increase the coverage (even if I am willing to pay more), nor would they evaluate the value of the properties.

RLI Insurance Company refuses to engage with victims' insurance carriers and does not respond to repeated communication attempts, even when messages are left with managers/supervisors. I was the victim in a collision wherein the other driver (who is insured by RLI Insurance Company) admitted fault; however, RLI Insurance Co. continues to try and bury its head in the sand in order to stonewall me and delay the process. I am reporting RLI Insurance Co. to the Better Business Bureau and my state's Bureau of Insurance.
