The Walmart card has so far been a good card. It has a low fee ($35) which is nice. It's not my favorite though as far a rewards go. I personally perfer an airline card to this card. It's a great card if you shop at Walmart a lot, but otherwise, I prefer other cards instead of this one. The rate is also fairly high compared to most other cards I have and use.
I have had several accounts with Bank of America for quite a few years now (checking and credit card), and I recently added a savings account. I couldn't be happier. The fees are inexpensive to non-existent. If you keep a minimum balance of $300 in your savings account, they waive the monthly fee. They have also been very easy to work with and they have a great online platform. I hardly ever have to go into a branch because I can do everything online or in my phone.
I am new to Selco, and I have to say that I am very pleased so far. I joined based off of a recommendation from a friend that has been with Selco for years. So far I just have a checking account through them, but I can see myself using many offer services with them for years to come. I have a branch very close to my house, and after a few trips, everyone remembers my name and greets me when I come in the door. Very warm and welcoming!
I opened a second checking account with Wells Fargo. They are not my primary bank. I opened due to work. I haven't had it open for that long, but so far I have to say that I am pleased. It is always easy to find a location, or atms. I hate paying fees, so it's nice to always be able to find an atm, even in cities I'm not firmiliar with. All employees have always been nice and pleasent when I have had to go into a branch. Overall, I would say that I would recommend Wells Fargo if someone asked.
I have been very happy with this card. I was really happy with the 0% interest rate for 18 months and then only 12.99% there after
I have been with Bank of America for about 5 years or so now, and I couldn't be happier. For me, at the end of the day, it's all about customer service. Bank of America's customer is second to none. Everytime something comes up such as fraud comes up (rarely) it is fixed no questions asked andthe money is put back into my account the same day. I have never had to wait while they investigate. Everyone in the branches is always very nice and friendly. I would recommend (and I do) Bank or Amrican to anyone.
I had my last car loan through Onpoint because the dealer told me they had the cheapest rate at the time. Not worth it! Knowing what I know now, I would have happily paid several percentage points higher to go with someone else. Everything with them was a constant hassle. Keep in mind that this was an account for an auto loan. I had fraud on my account several times in a year and a halp time span. My car payment would bounce because someone across the country was buying tvs at walmart with funds from my account. Then I would get charged with overdraft fees and late fees for my car payment. No apologies were given, and the process of fixing this was like pulling teeth. I understand that fraud happens, but the way OnPoint handled the MULTIPLE occurances was appalling.
Safeco has been a great company to do business with. They are very transaparent, and their customer suervice associates are always very nice and helpful. Fortanutely, I haven't been in the situation to file a claim very often, but the few times I have I have been very impressed with both their speed and helpfullness.
I couldn't be more happy with this card. It has become my favorite. People complain about the high annual fee, but it is well worth, and inexpensive compared to American Express. The rewards are great, and multiply fast. My favorite part is the companion ticket I get every year. It makes our flights for our annual trip much more inexpensive and allows us to spend the money on other parts of our trips!
