This is awful! I had no idea the interest that they charge! I needed eye surgery and was convinced that this was a good way to pay for it. Was making payments on time when I noticed a charge on $1,572.40 interest! I basically am back at square one! This is ridiculous! I'd been better off just getting a bill from the medical facility and making payments. DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE CARE CREDIT!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Absolutely horrendous what Care Credit is doing to people. There is no indication that you will have to pay thousands of dollars in interest if you don't pay your entire bill by a certain date. No credit card does this. It's a total rip off and it's probably against the law. I will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs and to the Better Business bureau. They are ruining the credit reports of consumers and in this economy especially it's completely unacceptable.

I was approved for $7,000 to get Invisalign - 2 days after being approved i was immediately charged with a $66 interest charge on my account Now making my account over the spending limit. When I was told there would be no interest charge for 12 months. I call customer service, and they won't even give me my account number, which i need to see WHY I'm over the limit and to set up my online account to pay my bill. A lady told me over the phone she won't give me my account number because "your account is over the spending limit." But said i can pay over the phone from now on instead of online?????? She also said "oh your card was delivered.... never mind, we will have to reship your card. Which will come after your due date. You can use your card to create an account"

CareCredit cares when they profit. Short of profiting, they care not. Application denied cuz they deems there weren't sufficient odds of profiting. A company in desperate need of renaming.

Care Credit does not post your payments and does not deduct them from your balance, but they take your money from your bank account. This is fraud.

I've used the card once for a $3400 dental purchase. Paid it off in less than a year during its 2 yr interest-free promotional. I've read horror stories here BUT I keep seeing the same two things; I missed a payment or I carried a balance. If you're in a promotional window, make your payments. If you're not, make your payments...or don't carry a balance. But if these weren't issues for you, you likely had an alternative. At the time, all I had was a $500 Amex so I opened the Carecredit. Now that I've got other options, I'll likely use it solely for vet care. Keep using it and keep the account open until you can get something better!!

I had this card for about 11 years until today.I assume I never had a late payment otherwise I would’ve realized how they go about charging you interest on a late payment and don’t ever inform you that payments made dont pay it off and instead you will incur interest on it. I recently realized a difference between my promotional balance and my current balance and upon calling for the second time a representative was able to tell me that the difference was due to a late fee that I had incurred in 2020 and that I was being charged interest on that late fee all along. Now that I am due to pay off my promotional balance I have a remaining balance of 73 which includes the $29 late fee and the rest is in interest. You would think that for being late one time in the 2years that they would work with you and remove the fees charged. Instead, an “account specialist”, also considered to be a manager, by the name of Shannon stated that there was nothing that could be done at all. She instead allowed me, an 11 year Customer, to close the account. I find this to be absolutely outrageous.

They will hit you with all kinds of reoccurring hidden fees a couple of months after using it, making the bill much higher than where you started. It ends up costing you more than if you had just used a regular interest credit card. Customer service lines are just for show. After keeping you on hold forever in both the chat and phone, they’ll tell you they don’t have the ability to assist.

DO NOT USE THIS LINE OF CREDIT. They have predatory practices like implementing security fees without your knowledge and extremely high interest rates. I went backwards in my credit because I was being charged $60 for a security feature I didn't need or want. I only owed $1200.00 at first then next thing you know I owe $3100. They were hitting me with that security fee and since i was only paying the minimum it made my account go backwards. DO NOT USE CARE CREDIT.
