The WalletHub rating is comprised of reviews from both WalletHub users and ratings on other reputable websites. The rating was last updated on 01/27/2023.
What's Your Rating?
1st There is the initial CASH BACk offer if You spend X Amount within X timeframe of initially getting this card, You receive X ($200 in my case) Cash Back either as a lump payment to whatever account You specify or You can use that amount applied to Your credit card as a payment.
2nd, This card offers an initial 1yr 0% Interest Rate, so long as You completely pay off Your balances..so Woohoo! A Great Deal/Offer..
3rd, I like this card as it is tied into my regular banking app so I can instantly access every charge, monitor the charges, set customized notifications, etc, and the rewards I receive for each purchase etc..Cash Back on Every Purchase & more on some purchases versus others versus others, so it is extremely convenient,.Plus there is the built in ‘Credit Journey’ function that allows You to better monitor and improve Your Credit Score over time..
Regardless, of the Negative Reasons listed below, I still believe that over all this is a Good Credit Card for someone looking for a credit card, period, and even better of a choice for anyone looking to monitor and improve their Credit Score over the long term.
REASON FOR MINUS 2 STARS:
However, I took away 2 Stars, because when I schedule a C/C payment from my Chase Acct, Chase INSTANTLY deducts the funds from my Checking Account BUT then DOESN’T pay it to & pay off my Credit Card for a day or 3, which means CHASE BANK is getting Interest Free use of my Funds! Which is wrong & I do not appreciate, because no way they would give me the same use of their money, so in reality they owe me the interest for that use..& eventually there will be a class action about it, just like there was for PayPal when they got caught doing the same to their Users years ago. 2ndly, Chase has on-going even more Discounts Thru some Vendors, but You have to literally go into Chase’s Vendor Discount section and manually click on each offer for that specific discount to apply when You use Your credit card for a purchase with that vendor… Which is both highly inconvenient & should be automatic & Chase could if they wished easily make it automatically apply for each vendor!
I think that's a way of keeping my rate high
