I’ve used Choice for repair work on a/c units and an electrical problem. Service was ok but recently had a problem with my water well. Supposedly it covers the pump etc but if you read the exceptions it actually doesn’t cover anything. The technician that came out to check my system said that most warranty covers the pressure switch which typically is the starting point or main problem with well systems. Choice does not cover the pressure switch and actually does not cover any repair to the system. The coverage is worthless and it cost me a service call to find this out. Choice new this but failed to mention it before sending out a repairman.

NEVER use Choice. My fridge / freezer is broken and cant get replacement parts for 3 weeks. I have no use of it and choice refuses to replace it. They said, go buy a small fridge to last until parts arrive. This is the worst home warranty company ever. When my dryer died, they gave me $300 to replace. It costs 150 just to get one shipped. All they will tell me is their policy is to fix when its fixable. They do not care at all that I have no fridge or freezer for 3 weeks!! NEVER USE THEM

It's been a month and 2 of my claims have not been resolved. They refuse to refund my service call fee, and when I tried to cancel my policy they said I would owe $1000 for costs related to repairs (what repairs)? They will give you the runaround and basically keep you from being able to get out of their plan. I also researched the companies that they sent over for repairs and they all have the lowest customer service ratings I have ever seen for a company.

Worst experience ever! Sent a technician 3 different times and he messed up the working AC and I had to hire someone else to fix. The customer service of Choice Home Warranty is straight trash. They want your money upfront and provide no service after collection. Stay far away!!!

The rep that came out was pretty good however, the amount Choice Home Warranty wants to give me to replace my Bosch dishwasher is nothing, they try to pass off the amount is comparable to what I have but it is not. The cheep amount for a Bosch is 600.00. You can't replace with any brand for the low amount they are giving me. I previously tried to cancel my account, I was 2 days past the renewal and they would cancel for me but I am out my 1,000.00. This company is something else. I will be cancelling before my next renewal and will go else where. They are willing to send me a check versus an ecard to lowes. Another unhappy customer.

My refrigerator stopped working after the 30-day waiting period but they refused to fix it because they said the problem had to be broken before the 30-day period. My renters were literally pulling out food from the refrigerator when we came to check them out. A week later it stopped. At first, I thought it was just unplugged but the lights turned on but it didn't cool. I feel scammed.

Scammers, in 3 years of being a customer, they denied my claims. You need to fight every claim you request for service. The process is, first service you pay the service call and they book you out 2-3 weeks out, hopefully your service isn’t an emergency because you’ll end up calling for one in your own. Next, once the technician comes out they have to submit in writing what the issue is and the cost of the repair then schedule another visit for repair which for me was out of pocket repairs. Read the fine print because water spiciest outside is not covered and service only covers “normal wear and tear,” you’re better off not using anything because to CHW, nothing was considered normal wear and tear for my dryer or my A/C. Hilarious. It is also difficult to cancel your policy, they will keep hanging up on you if you say that.

This company is horrible! According to them they are number one in the country! We called when our garage door opener broke and we had to pay for someone to come and fix it since it took the 3 weeks to send someone. We then put a claim for our water heater that broke down, they approved the claim; HOWEVER, they are asking us to pay for part of their vendor's charges. According to them delivery, materials and pick up of old water heater charges are not covered under the contract! This is a SCAM, FRAUD! Do not uses them!

So far Really great! The rep was great and the coverage was unlike anything I've ever seen! The VIP package is work the money. We opted for the 3 year package and saved like half the cost with locked in renewal rates.

I have used the services for almost five years now, I even got this for my mom. I have had nothing but good experience with Choice Home Warranty. Also I’ve had very good experience with the techs the have sent to my house So far , really good
I have contacted this company in regards to the pracices of choice home warranty company. I advise anyone else who is experiencing diffficulties with this company to do the same. We need justice

yes, tech will make you pay after visit then company will tell you your claim is rejected after they collect payment. This company will reject almost everything b/c there's million things on excluded list and even when your part is not excluded, they will say your requested part is related to excluded service.
