Crap. Rude. Inconsiderate. Unprofessional. Etc etc etc. We've had CHW for only a year and after my interaction with whoever was in charge of customer retention for my account ruined it with his garbage sales pitch and pushy nature. Called me in the middle of a work day and was hounding me with questions trying to get me to renew. And before that I was actually going to renew! But after this guy called, I knew I wouldn't. Hung up on me mid sentence after I told him we wouldn't renew. Don't waste your time because this company doesn't actually care about you.

Choice Home Warranty is a total JOKE! They charge you a monthly fee but, when you finally have an issue, it's not repaired or replaced as promised on their website. I made a claim on Dec24th, 2022 for my heating unit. It has yet to be resolved and today's date is January 31, 2023. ( 6 weeks ang counting! Save your money. It's absolutely not worth the frustration.

I assumed "repair or replace" meant just that. Nope. Made a claim on my washer that should be around $1000 retail to replace. They offered me a Lowes gift card for $547 and it was going to take 2-3 weeks to get to me. The only person I could talk to was the claims manager (no one above her). I had to take the $547 or nothing. The policy does state that they may offer you less than retail but I was not expecting HALF of retail. Would not recommend and I will definitely not be renewing this useless policy.

Cancelled my contract and charged me for incomplete work. Hired a plumber that couldn’t fix the problem and refused to go back and correct it. My shower has not worked since the technician showed up 4 months ago. When I addressed it with Choice Home Warranty they chose to cancel my policy and charge back to me the amount they paid but didn’t repair. I looked up the technician on BBB website and they gave the plumber an “F”. I guess Choice Home Warranty has no standards for the quality of the technician they schedule. They clearly do t care about customer service and have little interest in resolving the issues that are presented. In hindsight I’m glad nothing worse happened. I will take what little money they send me back and move on. Seeing a technician they hired with a grade of “F” explains it all.

Worst ever company to work with. The process is so lengthy. I had my gas water heater issue which the plumber appointed by Choice was not able to resolve in 10 days. I called in my plumber to resolve it after getting their approval and he did fix it by cleaning the pressure valve. My family suffered because of no reason for 13 days. When I went to reimburse the bill, choice resolution managers were rude as if I demanded their kidney. They refused to reimburse and instead told me to go ahead and cancel the warranty. I canceled the warranty. It’s a scam. Please stay away from Choice Warranty.

I requested a quote online and a rep. called me within 2 minutes (Josh Arlick). He was trying to sell me on 13 months for $495 then suddenly started to sell me on $2,640 so that my rate stays the same. I said NO to both and then said he had to transfer me to the cancellation department and sent my call off without letting me speak. After 20 minutes of being on hold with the new rep. she said I had 2 policies and which one was the claim that I was calling about. I was baffled as to why I had 2 policies and why was I transferred to claims when I shouldn't even have a policy. She said my request was out of her scope of work and had to transfer me to the escalation department. I got transferred to the resolution dept and he stated that it will take 72 hours to get my refunds. Unacceptable sales approach from Josh Arlick. I WILL NOT be doing business with this company at all and would highly discourage folks from considering them. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and a huge waste of time, frustration and anger.

Absolutely horrible company. We only have the policy because it came with the house we bought. Complete waste of time. They send out the worst contractors and don't care if the job isn't done right. We are without heat right now in winter because company they sent didn't finish the job and just left. They are super slow to get a contractor assigned to the job as well. The customer service is a foreign call center full of people who Absolutely do not care about the customer or their problem. Do not use! Go elsewhere.

The worst company to do business with, I placed a claim on a refrigerator back in 8/2022 and as of today 01/2023 I’m still without a refrigerator. I do not recommend this business .

Several issues. 1. Cooktop repair issues: after several discussions they offered to up the payment to $612 for a cooktop that costs in excess of $2500. I have raised 3 complaints with them so far and in neither of these did the technician identified by them reported on time. Including the current claim is now open for 2 weeks with the technician canceling upon us thrice after us waiting for them on the appointed time slot. Last identified technician bailed because they didn't serve our Zip code.. wow !! didn't Choice Warranty didn't know before assigning that vendor?? Now we are scheduled for the same a week later...which means the sprinkler which is broken for the last 3 weeks since I raised the claim shall remain unattended for another week and God only knows if this technician shall show up or not cos CHW doesn't seem to have effective contracts in place with its technical partners ! I wish I could have recorded a ZERO star!
I have contacted this company in regards to the pracices of choice home warranty company. I advise anyone else who is experiencing diffficulties with this company to do the same. We need justice
