There is no visible rust and the pictures that I sent for the claim verified that. They never sent anyone to inspect the appliance either before or after the claim. However, their policy is written so that they can deny any claim they want by invoking the "pre-existing condition" clause. Be forewarned that this company is in the business of collecting monthly fees; not honoring their warranty for your claims.

I believe they make a practice out of not paying justified claims.
I have had them for two properties for almost two years .
Ther have denied most of my claims, stating the tech doesn’t think the repair is covered. Every time the tech is in disbelief that they didn’t cover the repair.
Today,They would not replace a garage door opener that stopped working.
Will be canceling my policies.

I filed an appeal and supplied multiple additional pictures of the interior of the unit and they stated that they could see lots of rust in the unit even though there was none to be seen other than where the bolts attached the unit to the base. they refused to repair the system.
The technician they sent out had to put nitrogen in the system to get enough pressure to test it and I asked them to have the technician to come back and pump the nitrogen out of the system and they denied that saying they did not authorize him to do that.
I placed a claim for a dishwasher in May 13 2023. I was lied to numerous times when I called Choice support, that the claim would be processed in 5-7 business days. The claim took 4 weeks to process. At that time, I was offered a buyout (Lowes credit) because the dishwasher part could not be replaced. The buyout amount was $400 less than a cost of the replacement dishwasher. Choice does not cover the cost of the dishwasher delivery and the cost of removing the old dishwasher. The Choice Support rep do not know their own policy and claim coverage and they are unable to tell you about the additional cost not covered by the policy. Horrible customer service.
Left me angry and feeling irritated by the whole experience.
Show the price, up front. Shady business practice in my opinion and I told them so- the CSR, Rob- hung up on me at that point.
