auto rates are double for seniors , had Alfa 16 years they added a new late fee ,never informed ,checked State Farm 1/2 $$ now saving $1,000 per year ,no loyalty ,must pay annual membership for nothing ,don’t bother with Alfa ,Charles & Kim useless management (Madison Al)

Alfa has always been on time, friendly and professional. I have been with Alfa for 10+ years, not only for auto insurance but for home insurance as well. They have gone above and beyond to help me and I have never had a problem with any claim I had to make.

I’d give a 0 star review if possible. Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Ever single claim has been turned down for negligible loopholes. They cancelled our policy after not even paying out a single claim. Don’t bother with this sorry excuse for a company.

Agent Eddie Lundie gave us a Run-a-Round. Their client ran through my driveway, tore up the asphalt. At one point I even called their client to tell him how crappy Alfa is--he called and lit a fire under them, within 2 hours the agent and adjuster called called me. Adjuster told husband he'd take care of things and make some calls, after 2 weeks I called for a follow up and the adjuster told me to get a bucket of asphalt filler and make repairs myself. Took 2 months for an adjuster to finally come and assess damage, then pooed every estimate I had to get--I took off of work and had 80+ hours spend on calls, estimates, and emails. Alfa had NO RESPECT for my time and efforts. Took another month to pay. For 3 months my driveway was torn up over a $4500 claim.

Someone In Georgia rear ended my wife while sitting at a red light, which totaled our only family vehicle and they were insured by this company. My wife had to go to the hospital by ambulance, chiropractor, and even orthopedic because of the accident. It’s been over a year the claim has yet to be settled. Oh yeah and hear this?! They said my wife’s medical bills were because of a previous occurrence that had nothing to do with the accident. The only reason she had to seek medical attention was because of this accident. They’re fighting our lawyer to the teeth of the situation. Having to dot every “i” just to accept the claim.

I have been a loyal customer for about 30 years. Tornado hit- the LIES,-no payment I lost everything.shocked.adjuster is an idiot.

Worst insurance I have ever had ... had house insurance through Alfa in jasper Alabama and on 1 occasion I sent My payment in and the next month I get a letter saying they are canceling my insurance because of nonpayment . I called them and told them I paid last months payment and went to the office to show them my auto bill payment on my bank statement . They called the billing center and they said I indeed paid my payment they haven’t posted it to my account . My insurance was reinstated and I continued to pay my payments then after about 8 months I started receiving my checks back that I had sent after calling them they reassured me that it was because I had paid to much every month and that my premium for the year was paid . I still continued to pay my bill every month since the new year was fast approaching and didn’t want to miss payment on the years premium . After about 5 months into the year I was still receiving my checks back and I received a letter with the last check just this month that stated my insurance policy was cancelled. I called the office and they said I haven’t had insurance for over a year with them and my house is still under mortgage and the mortgage company didn’t even know I didn’t have insurance . I said why was my policy cancelled yet again the response was that they haven’t received the January 2018 payment and they cancelled my insurance . Which was a lie cause I have a showing on online bill pay that shows I have made all payments on time . If you have insurance with this company make sure you look closely at your statements to make sure they haven’t cancelled it .

I only had this insurance for 3 days but that was long enough for me to realize what a terrible company they were. When tried to cancel my policy over the phone I was told I had to write it down on paper policy number and my signature which they never seen before in the first place.
After having to harass the company half a day by email to get anything accomplished they finally cancelled my account.
I am so thankful I never had to file a claim with this pitiful excuse of a company

We are from Carthage,Ms Alfa denied my families and I fireloss claim and even accused me of causing the fire I do believe they paid the leaked county fire investigator off to make investigation look like I did do it but me or my family never was told what happened to our home by anyone they denied our claim and caused more suffering for me and my family . It's gonna be years before we recover. Will Goodwyn and associates for Alfa are liars and thrives.
