Founders Insurance Company

I’ve had founders insurance for about 3 to 4 years now. Their insurance itself is good and usually always the cheapest but the customer service is literally terrible. Brandy the manager hung up on me twice to assist a customer coming in the store while I was midsentence. I talked to the billing department and she was demanding on the phone that they lied to me about what they said. Horrible experience she is not a good manager or people person I just got safe auto today and switched because it is so awful to call them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. On 4-28-2021 I was hit by someone with Founders Insurance. My car was legally parked on the side of the road unoccupied. Founders has been horrible to deal with from the start. They spun me in circles for months saying they couldnt reach the driver in order to get their statement and therefore couldnt move forward. Then it was something with the accident report. They eventually stopped returning my calls and emails and would send a letter every three months saying they still couldnt reach the driver. I filed my first complaint with the BBB in December and in January they finally called. I sent them two estimates and after that all communication stopped once again. I've now filed my second complaint with the BBB because that seems to be the only time they will contact me. It's been almost a year now and there's no resolution in sight. I told them I'd be hiring an attorney before they contacted me last time so it looks like I will be doing just that. This is absolutely ridiculous. I've done all the work for them. I just need them to reimburse me for the damage and at this point I need reimbursed for my time and the hassle. What if my car had been disabled from the accident??

Horrible service. No response from adjuster after multiple voicemails. I was hit by a Founders insured and have still not received any compensation.

On February 3rd, my car was backed into by a driver insured by Founders. I submitted the claim through their app and filled out their claims form. The driver admitted she was at fault and gave a statement of the accident. The first few times I called they told me they were waiting for the police report and her statement. A few days later I called again, they told me they were still waiting on her statement. It is now April and it is getting harder to reach them. The last message I received was the number to my claims agent who is not returning my phone calls. I even reached out to the driver who told me she did give her statement. I don't understand why the claim is still open when the driver admitted fault and did her part.
