FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND VALUE TRUST IN YOUR AGENT PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RYAN MCCORD. I'LL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE I WAS HIT BY A DRUNK DRIVER WITH NO INSURANCE. CALL RYAN HE TELLS ME TO FILE A CLAIM USING THE APP. I TAKE PICTURES SEND HIM 1000 DOLLAR DEDUCTIBLE, A WEEK LATER I GET A CALL FROM RYAN SAYING I GOT GOOD NEWS THERE GIVING U 600 DOLLARS TO FIX YOUR CAR. IT DIDN'T ADD UP, THE DAMAGE WAS WAY MORE THAN 600 DOLLARS BUT I GUESS BY SENDING PICS THROUGH AN APP INSTEAD OF HAVING SOMEONE COME AND LOOK AT IT ITS EASY TO MAKE YOUR OWN ESTIMATE. SO I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT HOW I JUST GAVE HIM 1000 AND HE GIVES ME A CHECK FOR 600 DOLLARS. IM GUESSING HE USED THE OTHER 400 TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. RYAN WAS AWESOME BEFORE I NEEDED HIM FOR HELP, IT'S HARD TO PAY SOMEONE FOR 10 YEARS TO PROTECT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THEN WHEN YOU ACTUALLY NEED THEIR PROTECTION THEY RIP YOU OFF. ANY HONEST AGENT WOULD HAVE SAID LISTEN THE DEDUCTIBLE IS GOING TO BE MORE THAN THE DAMAGE SO JUST USE THE 1000 TO PAY FOR IT. BUT NO HE HAPPILY TAKES THE 1000 AND WRITES ME A CHECK FOR 600. SO NOW I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT TO FEED MY FAMILY, HAVE CHRISTMAS AND FIND A WAY TO FIX MY CAR BECAUSE HE DOESN'T CARE IF MY CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE OR NOT AS LONG AS HE PROFITS. I'M A SINGLE DAD BY THE WAY. BEFORE ALL THIS I HAVE RECOMMENDED RYAN MCCORD TO LOTS OF PEOPLE BECAUSE I THOUGHT HE WAS AN HONEST BUSINESS MAN BUT THE ONE AND ONLY TIME I'VE EVER NEEDED HIM HE LET ME AND MY FAMILY DOWN. I'VE CALLED AND CALLED TO SEE IF THEY COULD JUST COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT AND HE SAID. IT GOT TO THE POINT HE WOULDN'T ANSWER MY CALLS THEN BLOCKED ME. I'M PAYING THIS GUY'S SALARY AND HE WOULDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO HELP ME. BUT I GUESS HE HAS A BUSINESS TO RUN AND IF HE PAID EVERYONE WHAT THEY WAS OWED THEN HE WOULDN'T BE AS PROFITABLE DRIVING A NICE CAR LIVING IN A NICE HOME GOING TO NICE RESTAURANTS. I WOULDN'T WANT MY WORST ENEMY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY BECAUSE HE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AT THERE MOST VULNERABLE TIME. WHEN THEY NEED HIM THE MOST, SO IF YOU WANT AN HONEST AGENT THAT WILL WORK FOR YOU THIS IS NOT YOUR GUY. I PROMISE. YOU THINK I WOULD WRITE THIS POST IF IT DIDN'T BOTHER ME THAT SOMEONE I BASICALLY TRUSTED WITH MINE AND MY FAMILY'S LIFE BASICALLY LIED TO MY FACE ON MANY OCCASIONS. I'M JUST GLAD ME OR MY SON WASN'T INJURED I COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW MUCH WE WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH IF WE HAD HOSPITAL BILLS. BUT I'M WRITING THIS TO WARN ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR INSURANCE OR HAS ALREADY DONE BUSINESS WITH.

Company is horrible. Mold left after water damage and contractor replaced drywall around mold leaving damaged area. Contractor informed to cut as many corners as possible to save insurance company money. Kyfb has created a disaster out of a disaster with the poor integrity of the agents working as management with the company. Agents lowball getting contractors to cut corners because they agree to pay them a certain amount originally and then go back months later and convince contractors to cut orginal estimate.

They are big on denying claims, not so much on doing the right thing. Had a roof claim denied, check out www.kyfb.us as many share the same story unfortunately.

I have had KFB car insurance for 5 years now. I have had one claim when I was rear ended and they handled it very well. Past insurance companies I have dealt with have been slow and unclear during the claims process, KFB was was fast, efficient and clear. I understood the process completely and really appreciated the open communication I got from the agent. The communications they provide throughout the year regarding policy updates and rates are great, I would highly recommend them.

I recently switched to Kentucky Farm Bureau for my auto insurance on my car. Living in the
state of Kentucky, I am required by law to hold auto insurance. This became a problem
as I was switching car insurance companies for a car that was being given to me. I
ran into red-tape with not having current insurance (even though I did not have a
car) and as a result has increased rates. Kentucky Farm Bureau helped to work with me through this process and got me the lowest monthly cost for the insurance that I had been
offered so far. I am glad I worked with them. Their customer service is extremely
good.

I had an absolutely flawless experience with this company. They got me a quote for homeowner's insurance within hours. There quote was the exact same policy I currently had but for almost half the price. The service has been nothing but stellar, efficient, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Kentucky Farm Bureau was my first ever car insurance company. I never had any major issue with KYFB with receiving information concerning my policy. The reason I am only rating KYFB with a 3 rating is their coverage is so expensive. I was able to save over $100 on a brand new car when switching to a larger company. While my experience was not bad with them, I feel they need to lower their pricing to make it more affordable to the everyday consumer.

I switched from GEICO which was way too expensive, to Kentucky Farm Bureau, which is much more affordable. I have always had great service, and I am extremely satisfied up to this point with my car insurance. The cost is much more affordable as I said earlier, my policy, with better coverage, is about one-third the cost that GEICO was going to charge me, so I could not be happier with that aspect of my policy. Also, at my local office, I have always dealt with Paula and she is always kind and courteous. She truly is an asset to Farm Bureau. I also appreciate the fact that I talk to a person when I call the office for any inquiries that I may have, instead of having to deal with an automated system.

I used to use Kentucky Farm Bureau for my car insurance for many years, but I finally dropped them because I felt my needs could be better served by another issuer. Local KFB agents used to be able to manually override pretty much anything, but now all they do is plug your info into a computer and whatever quote it spits out is what they can give you – take it or leave it. At least that's what a rep I trust told me. I've had two wrecks, neither of which were my fault. In the first one, somebody backed into me in a parking lot. We were both with KFB. It was the first time and they paid that claim without any issues. The next time, however, they fought me and tried not to pay. I was stopped at a stop sign and an elderly driver, who the police nearly cited for being under the influence of medication, rear-ended me (that's right, rear-ended a stopped vehicle – TOTALLY their fault). Because my bumper already needed to be replaced from damage to another part of it, where an uninsured driver had hit it in another parking lot, KFB didn't want to pay for it. It makes no difference if another part of the bumper was already damaged or not, it still would've needed to be replaced from the damage the old person inflicted when plowing into me. They got quite testy when I fought them and we eventually settled, but that experience taught me they're no better than any other insurance company and for that reason I'm now with one of the national companies that gave me cheaper rates.

I signed up with Kentucky Farm Bureau for my car AND home insurance nearly 3 years ago thanks to the suggestion of a friend. The initial sign up process was a breeze and every customer service representative that I spoke with was very polite and helpful.
Since the time I’ve signed up, I’ve only had one claim, and it was a no questions fix to my wind shield. I made the call while I was in Michigan (a rock had taken out a chunk of my wind shield), explained the situation while I was still driving, and within 10 minutes I had scheduled someone to come out and fix my window. I didn't see an insurance hike and I got a new wind shield without paying a price.
When I moved my home insurance to Kentucky Farm Bureau, the representative I spoke to took care of the entire process. Once it was done, my insurance rates actually went down for my car because I had multiple policies which give a sizeable discount! I was very pleased with the time it took to take care of my request and how easy the transfer process was.
Since Kentucky Farm Bureau has upgraded their online website, payments are easy to make and very secure. You only need to remember a simple username and password combination and you can set up re-occuring pay or pay month to month.
I’d highly recommend Kentucky Farm Bureau to any person living in the state of Kentucky that needs simple insurance. They are open during normal business hours, take payments over the phone, or even have the previously mentioned website to take care of all issues.
