I honestly wish I can rate lower. My mother had them as her car insurance and they were horrible (Extremely bad customer service). Beginning of this year a car collided into my mom's vehicle. We filed a police report plus the other driver admitted fault. Fred Loya refused to help her until she paid her $1000 deductible and estimated her car damage at $1400.00 (they didn't even send out a claim adjuster to review her car) which doesn't even make any sense. They then proceeded to harass my mother to pay her deductible even after we said no they sent her a check $1400 to fix her car (we trashed it). Anyways we decided to proceed without her insurance and took my mom's car to TWO different auto repairs. Both estimated her repairs over $4000; we also worked with the other drivers insurance (AARP) and they were awesome. They paid for my moms car rental for 2 weeks while her car was in the shop-Fred Loya wouldn't even get her a rental. I wish I can remember the lady we spoke to from Fred Loya so I can call her out on here. They are HORRIBLE!

Their driver lost control on wet roadway, hit my husband causing him to spin and slide until a concrete wall stopped him. Driver told this in police report. Fred Loya after more than two weeks, they deny the claim saying their drivers statement didn’t match my husbands or the police report.

I was in a car accident a few weeks ago and the other driver was at fault. Unfortunately they have Fred loya insurance. My car is totaled and I have 3 herniated disc from the accident. They are trying to deny the claim even with the police statement saying the other driver is at fault and witnesses. I had to get a lawyer and I am unable to get medical help until Fred Loya responds to my lawyer. I am in so much pain and car less. It's so frustrating. I would never recommend this insurance to anyone and hope I never have to deal with them again.

Worst I have ever had in 20 yrs driving. Unprofessional, disorganized especially corporate. Shameful, seriously they should be ashamed of themselves. Hrs on the phone, endless pending payments, applying payments to wrong accounts. Never again. Just say no to fred loya, they do not care a flying fig

A Fred Loya insured person rear ended me and was at fault. Fred Loya was very inconsistent on handling my damaged bumper. Nothing they did made sense to me and their communication skills were poor. In the end I was given some money to get it fixed on my own.

Reading these reviews makes me extremely nervous because of the accuracy so far that I’ve experienced. I have never dealt with an insurance company that gives you the run around like this company. I have a pending claim where the client ran the red light and hit my son. There’s witnesses statements and a police report where they their client received a citation for running a red light and they informed me they have to do their own investigation. My car is totaled out and I’m still waiting on them to determine liability. I have talked to the adjuster one time after I had to demand some type of response. I was given the Adjuster’s supervisor number and can’t reach him either. The customer service is awful. It may have cheaper rates for their clients but I wouldn’t mind paying more for better service. Dealing with Allstate and Texas Farm Bureau in the past I know this claim would already be processed. I wouldn’t recommend Loya Insurance to anyone!

I recently got into an accident where the driver was backing from an alley and they don't wanna fix my car stating that this person claims that she was going in the alley and I ran into her, this company is a sham.

SCAM ALERT! Stay Away from this company and take your business somewhere else! Jeannette Lugan gave me the run around for about 2 months “WE CaNT Get a HoLd of the DriVer! that hit your car” wow! Total waste of time and not to mention they ignore your calls! And do nothing to help you! Its too bad I can’t give them a Zero rating!

It should have been a red flag when they insured me without a license. We used them for 5 years just for them to cut us off for using our glass coverage 1x a year. This company is awful I will never refer anyone to them. Not to mention their customer service sucks and they report windshield replacements as accidents.
I hope no one has the unfortunate event of having this company involved with your accident. They suck so completely it is amazing. Lack of communication, lack of handling your vehicle. I was told if I rent a car I will be reimbursed. That was a lie. They told me on multiple occasions they will pick up my car to send to a body shop. Also a lie. I have been without a car for a month. The only reason it is getting resolved is because I had my insurance take over. I emailed and called multiple times and they never responded. Days later when they did Luis Jimenez gave me a call back and argued about how many times I reached out. If I have called you or emailed you once, you respond and not days later. Don’t tell me you are towing my car in 1-3 days and month later I do it myself. This company should be shut down and ashamed.
