Worst and most unprofessional set of humans I've ever talked to. What is crazier is that I actually pay them to get treated this way. Cheating me out of a claim and ignoring all my substantially backed reasoning for push back. Literally ignoring me until every third attempt for communication hoping I will just go away. If you are interested in an insurance company that insures the people that pay them, I would go elsewhere. I've never felt so mistreated. Will seek legal action on them if possible.

I had to change my auto insurance when I moved to North Carolina. I was referred to North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Group and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to sign up. I have had to call to make arrangements to pay my bill a few days late and they are always accommodating. Luckily, I have never had to file a claim. I have a great rate and plan to add home insurance with them as well.

I've had a Farm Bureau car insurance policy covering my family for many years, and for the most part, they've been wonderful. The rates are reasonable and whenever I've had to call them, their customer service agents have been helpful and polite. Luckily I haven't needed to make a claim yet because I have not been in an auto accident since college. My son Paul was also insured with them (through me) when he was a teenager, and he had several "fender benders" in the old Volvo hatchback he inherited from his father. The first claim we made was trouble free and it was all sorted out within two months. However, with the next two accidents, my son complained that the company was not as responsive or generous as they were with the first claim. Personally, I think that was just a natural outcome for a teenager who has been in several "at fault" accidents--one can't expect to receive a large settlement or the fastest service when they have a poor driving record--but I did dock a star for the 6+ months it took for them to resolve those claims. Other than that, I have nothing to complain about in regards to Farm Bureau, and on the whole they have been very good to my family and I. I must say, even though my son was very upset after each of his car accidents, the customer service people were calm and considerate, and helped to assuage his (and my!) worries by thoroughly explaining the claims process and answering all of our questions.

North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurace used to be legitimate...but as years went by with the insurance company, they started changing the policies. For example, they would check to see who had a license in a specific household and if the owner of the policy hadn't added them to it, they would automatically add the other household members and the rate would go up quite a bit. Even when I had insurance with a different company, they still added me to my mother's policy. I am pretty sure that it is insurance fraud to have two policies. So it really aggravated me. When we went down to Dobson, NC to figure out the problem, they were very rude and did not want to fix it. This is definitely not a first choice insurance company for me.

About a year ago, I experienced a incident where apparently my insurance lapsed even though I paid it. I found out after a police officer pulled me for something unrelated, and I was suddenly in a bind. I was terrified, livid. Luckily I had my smartphone with me. I gave Farm Bureau a call, and after a minutes they managed to find the problem. I managed to verify to the officer that I was in fact an insured driver. I still got a ticket for doing 82 or so in a 60 mph zone, but that's beside the point. If you're in NC, and you need insurance, it's hard to go wrong with Farm Bureau.

The most important quality a car insurance company should have is good customer service. When I get into an accident or have trouble with my car, the last thing I want to do is deal with an insurance company. The one thing that makes this situation tolerable is good customer service. When I call in, I want to be greeted and helped by someone who is friendly and knowledgeable. Farm Bureau has excellent customer service. They are always friendly and helpful at my local branch!

I have been with Farm Bureau for many years and I can't say I regret it one bit. When I was a teenager a few years ago the rates were not as high as I had anticipated, and the employees were very warm and made me feel like a valued customer. I still haven't had any problems to this day and the application process was simple and efficient. I feel like I am safely covered when driving with this company and would recommend it to anyone in North Carolina looking for automobile insurance!

I’ve had Farm Bureau for several years, and although it isn’t the cheapest option, they do seem to care about their customers. I’ve never had a problem and they’ve always worked with me when things inevitably happen. I once had someone side-swipe me and knock off my mirror. They sped off and I contacted Farm Bureau. A couple of days later it was fixed and I didn’t have any other issues.

I have been a car insurance customer with Farm Bureau for 14 years, 7 of which have been with NC Farm Bureau Insurance Group. I am completely satisfied with the experiences that I have had with them and would highly recommend them to anyone. We have had two agent changes within the past 7 years, but the transitions have been smooth and excellent with no awkwardness. Our former agent would call and check on us every 4 or 5 months just to make sure everything was going all right. I was in a hit-and-run car accident over a year ago and Farm Bureau was so helpful in getting me through everything. I am a loyal customer of Farm Bureau and would never consider leaving. My rates go down every 6 months and because I have multiple policies I have a great discount.

My grandparents and mother have had Farm Bureau insurance for as long as I can remember so naturally I became a customer when I was old enough to drive. They offer competitive rates and the people are very customer-oriented. I’ve never been in accident so I’m not sure how great their claims department is, but I’ve heard good things. They offer many discounts for those who are budget-conscious. They also have a more “at home” feel than larger national insurance companies who make you feel like a number and couldn’t care less about you because they don’t even see you.
