Little difference exists between the Sears MasterCard and the Sears Store Credit Card, save for the latter’s limitation to Sears-family purchases and the fact that it requires only fair/limited credit for approval. But that’s not necessarily a good thing, considering neither card offers much. The Sears Store Card gives you an initial choice between a $10 gift certificate and deferred-interest promotional financing (http://wallethub.com/edu/deferred-interest-study/25707/ ). Beyond that, you get access to discounts in specific spending categories and a well-above-average regular APR. The best thing about the Sears Store Card is its lack of an annual fee. This enables you to invest in your credit standing without putting any money on the table. But the Sears Card is far from the only vehicle for low-cost credit improvement. With that in mind, it’s probably best to take a pass. Nevertheless, if you’d like to learn more, you can find a full breakdown of this offer in our complete Sears Credit Card Review: https://wallethub.com/edu/sears-credit-card-review/25964/.
They closed my account by mistake and I was like well then reopen it they said they can’t. I would have to reapply and redo it all over again. How does that sound for a company that you are supposed to have confidence in. They close my account because I asked for a new card the people who are on the other line of these accounts are absolutely ridiculous.

Citibank Personal Loan Review
Citibank personal loans are a good option for people with good or excellent credit. They offer competitive APRs, at 7.99% to 23.99%, and up to $50,000 in funding. These loans are only available to people with an existing Citibank account (checking, savings, money market or CD). In addition, personal loans from Citi are a bit harder to get than average, as the minimum credit score required is reportedly 680, compared to 660 for many competing lenders.
Citibank has a bit of a stained reputation, with an F rating from the BBB and over 500 complaints about their personal loans with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. You should take time to look through some user reviews and weigh them against Citi’s good personal loan terms before applying.

Citi Double Cash is undoubtedly one of the best cash back credit cards on the market. Customers really can't go wrong with 2% cash back on all purchases, though people with more specialized spending needs may prefer cards that reward specific categories. It's hard to top Double Cash's combination of a high cash back rate, no annual fee, and long intro balance transfer APR.
I went to the Macy's website and tried to purchase a men's diamond ring. It was not available in store so I tried to order it online. An offer of 20% off my purchase by opening a Macy's card popped up. I have an 820 credit score so I figured why not. I did the application and got a message to call them with additional information. I did, and had to deal with Citibank, big mistake. I've dealt with Citibank before. They are the most incompetent organization I have ever dealt with. You have to speak with foreigners in other countries. You can't understand them and they don't know what they are doing. Big companies like Macy's cut costs by outsourcing jobs that should be going to Americans and instead pay people in other countries, pitiful. They asked some basic questions and said I was approved. Then the chaos started. I tried placing my order for the diamond ring and kept being switched back and forth between credit and the online purchasing departments with long holding periods each time. Every time I was switched I spoke with a different person who gave me a different story. I finally got so frustrated I just told them to cancel/close the charge account. The next day I received an email from a credit monitoring site that reported my score dropped because of the Macy's inquiry. The whole thing was a nightmare. This was my second and last horrible shopping attempt with Macy's, never again. My advice, ban/boycott Macy's and Citibank and save yourself a ton of headaches.

This is a nice card to have if you like 12months same as cash with minimal interest; however, let the buyer beware that interest does accrue until account is at 0 balance.
