I've had AAA insurance now for 2 years and I really enjoy it. The application process was quick and easy. All I had to do was drive to my local AAA branch which was only 3 minutes away from my home. The workers there were very friendly and offered me a great deal on insuring my two cars. The best part about AAA is their roadside assistance. They have partnered up with many auto repair shops around the US in order to provide a quick tow truck where ever you go. My battery died before I could head to work one day. I called AAA and they had someone come replace my battery within 15 minutes! I was not even late to work that day. Overall, I recommend AAA auto insurance to anyone that can afford it.
I am a primary customer of chase bank but I have to admit that the interest rates on saving accounts of major banks sucks. Luckily, I went into a SDCCU branch near my house one day just to check out other options to store my money. The customer service was excellent since I was greeted and directed to an available person who could help me right away. The best part about is that the interest rates for their savings accounts are much much higher than chase or any other major banks. I went ahead and signed up for an account there. The online system lets me deposit my money from my checking account with chase to my savings account without ever having to leave my home. Overall, I recommend SDCCU's savings account due to their great customer service and high interest rates.
I automatically became a chase customer ever since they acquired Washington Mutual. My account at WaMu became a Chase Total Checking account with no problem at all. The best part about being a chase customer is that there is literally a branch at every corner. Not to mention the fact that I could even find a chase ATM just by walking around with my eyes closed. There is no annual fee as long as you have the minimum amount of money in your checking account so I see no reason why someone would not bank at Chase. Overall, I love the availability of my account and the fact that i don't have to pay for that privilege.
My wife shops a lot at Nordstrom so the Nordstrom Store Card was a no brainer. The double points on Nordstrom purchases are perfect for my wife since she spends a lot of money at that store. Plus the points can be converted back to cash which my wife uses to buy more clothes at Nordstrom.
This AT&T Credit Card probably has the best initial signup bonus there is. $500 dollars is not too hard to spend within 3 months to get the $100 dollar bonus. This is especially true since I am using this credit card to pay for my phone bill at AT&T. It feels good to earn money back on the bills I'm paying since It seems like AT&T is always expensive. But the only reason I have this card is to pay my phone bills with it and nothing else. There are better cards you can use daily.
The American Express Serve card is a decent prepaid card but there are others that are better. I mainly took advantage of the extra $50 dollars you get for depositing $500 dollars. There are not many merchants that accept American Express in my area so I rarely use this card besides getting money out of the ATM. The great thing about this card over many other prepaid card is that there is not Fees to use this card. Other than that, the benefits of other cards are better.
I signed up for the Hyatt Credit card only to get an extra 2 free nights while I was on vacation a couple of years ago. It wasn't hard spending the $1000 needed to get the free nights since I was already on vacation. Ordering room service and spa services added up and the best part about it was that I get 3 reward points back on every dollar. I was surprised at how much points I built up by the end of the vacation. I now make it a point to only stay at Hyatt hotels now because of all the points I saved up.
My family is huge on football. We go to many games and the cost of tickets add up. I use this NFL Credit Card to help get some money back on the all the games we go to. We easily spent the $500 for the extra $100. 20% of the NLFShop is nice but I rarely shop there since I do most of my sports related shopping in person. Besides the extra points from buying tickets, there really is not much reason for using this card.
I got my Priceline Credit Card mainly to get the $100 for spending 1000$ within 90 days. But after using it for those 90 days I found that I began using priceline.com more often to book my hotel, airline, and other travel needs. the 5x points on priceline is a plus since I have never seen a company offer such a large cashback on purchases made within their site. I would recommend this card to people who like to travel.
I really enjoying using this credit card because I travel a lot and can earn a bunch of rewards this game. I easily spent the $1,500 within 4 months to get the 10,000 bonus points. These points can be used to redeem many types of rewards including cash.
