I too would rate this company a zero, if I could. Our bank used to administer their own credit services, then they outsourced to this company. Terrible decision. We receive paper billing statements for this and other cards. This is the ONLY company that prints the ENTIRE credit card number on the statements. None of our other companies do this. So, if someone erroneously receives the billing statement and opens it, they now know the card number, name, address, etc. It's just a terrible security practice that everyone, except this company, knows to avoid. The small, community banks that outsource servicing to this company should be held accountable for what they're doing to their customers. Furthermore, there's no rhyme or reason as to when they mail the billing statements. They're unpredictable. So, there's always the possibility that you won't get your statement in a timely fashion. Before this company was forced upon my family, everything was fine. We think they're a disaster and I'm considering cancelling the card and obtaining a card from another of our banks. Also, there's the possibility of my contacting our state's Attorney General Office to file a formal complaint against the security practices of this company. Just nuts.

I signed up for a card last February for a balance transfer because of a good 0% apr promotion. In April, I was late by a couple of days because it slipped my mind as I was in the process of buying a house, and my balance had gone up on another card as I charged some moving expenses. I was penalized by having $1000 removed from my credit limit. Today, I was checking my statement and found that they just took away another $1000 even though I have not been late on a payment since that one time in April, and my credit card usage has been minimal since then. I have not taken on any new debt at all, and my credit has otherwise been trending up. I’ve never had any other missed payments on anything else, so this came as a complete surprise. It is infuriating that they take away credit for no reason. I would rate 0 stars if possible. Stay away from Elan!

Their website is unreliable and not user friendly :-( Worst credit card administrator ever. If I could switch to another company, I would.

Horrible customer service phone experience. Rude rep and yelled at ME on the phone. Escalated to supervisor. He could care less. Issue was timely sending of new cards close to expiration date. Mine expires 01/21 and I have had it rejected several times already given closeness to expiration...that is vendor choice to accept or not and not all will accept to the last date of date validity. Chase sends out cards 90 days before expiration so you can update all your auto-pays etc. Elan was not going to send a new one out until 2nd week in January. Elan reps demanded I pay $15 to expedite a new card with an extended expiration date...I will be cancelling the card next month.

Horribly dysfunctional website, had to call tech support. Autopay did not work as intended and it was blamed on me of course. Customer service is worse than the website... I strongly encourage anyone to stay away from this institution.

This card was good for me when I got it. I haven't requested anything from them so far, but having no annual fee and no interest for 18 months was good, despite the low credit limit.

I changed my auto pay amount the week before it was due to minimum but they still withdrew the full amount causing my bank account to overdraft. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!
