I opened a NEW checking account (first one ever) and a few weeks later was charged $27 b/c I was short $1 on a transfer.. I went in and talked, but the later was impersonal and rude.. Instead of resolving the issue they pushed it off onto another person that will “review it”.. these are the kinds of places to stay away from..

We refinanced about a year ago for the lower interest rate. I feel there was a set up to get the loan. Everyone knows the escrow is padded. They tell you that. You're in a hurry to get it done and to have a lower house payment. They DON'T pad the estimate; they figure your escrow lower. This makes your house payments look like it will be lower than before after doing the loan. They also state automatic debit payments will decrease the interest rate. NEITHER HAPPENED! To show a lower payment. They lowered the escrow amount. Then a year later they increase your payment due to a shortage. I know Homeowners increases every year and so do taxes but in our case the homeowners increase was minimal and our taxes decreased a lot due to our Veterans discount. BEWARE AT CLOSING! BEING EAGER TO GET IT DONE! Many other fees are added at closing. A 3rd party is hired to do the closing and adding more expenses and other added expenses not on the estimate. THE ESTIMATE IS LOWER TO GET THE LOAN! THE ESCROW SHORTAGE SHOWS SHOWS UP LATER, WHAT A SCAM!!
