Can I use my Frontier miles for someone else?
No, Frontier Airlines does not allow you to use your miles to book an award ticket for another traveler. Award flights can only be issued in the name of the Frontier Miles member whose account is used to make the booking.
However, Frontier offers a “Family Pooling” feature, allowing members to combine miles and share them with up to eight other members. To lead a pool, you must be a Frontier Miles Elite Silver member or higher, or have a Frontier credit card.
How to Pool Frontier Airlines Miles
- Log in to Your Account: Start by signing in to your Frontier Miles account on the official Frontier Airlines website.
- Check Eligibility: Confirm that you qualify to create a miles pool. The “Family Pooling” option is available only to Frontier Miles Elite Silver members or higher, or to Frontier credit card holders.
- Go to Miles Pooling: After logging in, click on your name, select “View Profile,” and scroll down to the “Family Pooling” section.
- Invite Members: To add friends and family to your pool, click “Add Pool Member,” enter their Frontier Miles member number or email, and send the invite.
- Confirm Participation: Invited members need to accept the invitation. Once they do, they are added to the pool.
The pool leader can redeem the combined miles for flights, seat upgrades, or other rewards within the Frontier Airlines program. If you're interested in learning more, check out WalletHub's review of the Frontier Miles program.
