Frontwave is ver helpful and professional. They give the best interest rates. Also helpful when it comes to home loans and auto loans
I would never recommend this bank to any1 whatsoever. If u have any type of problem on a weekend u can't speak with anybody to resolve the problem. No 24hr assistance has gota b 1 of the dumbest services not to have. Get with the program people!!!!
We have been with this credit union for nearly 10 years. We recently applied for a mortgage. We were told it would take 30 days to close the loan when we applied. We also applied with 2 other banks. Each promised a 30-day closing.
After we signed the application, we were then told it would take 60 days. If this isn't a bait-and-switch scenario, I don't know what is.
While we made every effort to get them the supporting documents and information as quickly as possible, they did not behave in kind. Communication was slow, processing was slow and requests to our employers for verification were unnecessarily delayed.
We were promised that we would be able to sign the documents at a certain date and time. We arranged for time off with our employers and moved around other appointments in our schedule. Next week, we're on vacation. Now they are back-peddling and breaking another promise telling us we may not be able to sign tomorrow.
So, if you decide to apply for a loan with this company, know that they will not tell you the truth when it comes to closing times, they will not go out of their way to make it up to you, in fact, they will ignore your emails and phone calls when you try to get any type of resolution.

This is the only credit union I've ever dealt with that seems like it is a for-profit business. I've been a member for 10 years. At this point I refuse to do business with them, and encourage everyone to not join, or to find a new bank. They are average on most days. When it counts, they are either incompetent, disrespectful, untrustworthy, or all 3 at once. Bank somewhere else! Save your time and money. It's always a nightmare to do things that have been so simple at other banks.
The company is very military friendly and helps work with scheduled payments and is always willing to help payment progress especially with calling at good times.

Frontwave was fast and easy to apply for a loan and I got approved in about 15 minutes with no credit. They are a good bank and I’ll stay with them for a while.

Worst bank I've ever dealt with. Don't get a car loan through this bank if you ever want the title. I paid off a car that I purchased through a private seller 6 weeks ago and still don't have the title! Everytime I call I get nothing but lies and excuses. The first time they claimed it was lost in the mail, and the 2nd time I called they lied to me twice during the same phone call. They first claimed it was sent to a car dealership 35 minutes away from my house, and then they claim there's an issue with the title. Total bull! I can't register my vehicle without the title. I bought a car and cant even drive it.
Back when I lived in California these were this was the institution I used and had a checking account with. They offer great services for a checking account in comparison to other institutions. That includes that one I transferred to when I moved to Florida. They don't charge any fees, they don't even charge an overdraft fee as long as you overdraft by under $80. My only issue with them was the transfer of checking accounts. It was harder than it should have been. I guess that can be blamed on both of them, but they share the blame either way. If you're in the Barstow area, they have a huge building there that you can visit to get signed up.
Let me start with saying that I love credit unions. I feel like credit unions are trying to work with me, whereas private banks are working against me. My husband and I opened an account with PMCU hoping that we could get a car loan account. We got a car loan the same day we opened a checking account. At that point, about three years ago, PMCU had the lowest car loan of 1.99% APR. The person who helped us was quick, straight to the point, and very helpful. We got letter of pre-approval within an hour of signing up, and bought a car the next day. PMCU was very quick about sending payment to the dealership (according to the dealership) and make first time buying a car extremely pleasant and worry-free. Checking is amazing. Even though, we didn't have a direct deposit with them, they never charged us anything. In order to pay for our car, we had to take out money from our primary account and deposit at the bank, which wasn't as bad as it sounds. The waiting time in the bank was less that five minutes. Online banking is hassle-free, you can access pretty much everything online. You could also change your PIN by calling, which is great because you don't have to go in. Overall, this bank is there to serve you, not the opposite.
You can get a Frontwave Credit Union credit card even with a bad credit score. As for their secured card, you don't even need a credit history to get approved.
Frontwave Credit Union will also take other factors into consideration when looking at your application, such as your income, existing debts and overall creditworthiness.
Keep in mind that you need a Frontwave Credit Union membership to apply. Also, an application could result in a hard pull on your credit, which may lower your score for a short period of time.
