Your request for feedback mentioned how grateful you would be for the information. I delayed writing my review until I was sure the transactions were complete so I could give the full picture. I spoke to a Good Leap employee by phone to be sure I had the correct address, and that it was okay to send a check. At that time I checked on the amount. I was quoted the same amount I'd been told before. Now mind you the first payment was not due until August 2023. I paid off the loan in May 2023 and was informed I needed more money to pay for daily interest. Good leap was not the first choice for the loan on this solar project. A company connected to a now defunct bank first had the loan. This is not the way to do business! Now I understand why so many others have given such awful reviews.

My husband and I were skeptical about solar for our home. Our experience with Good Leap has been exceptional!! The customer service and follow up have been amazing!! Our sales experience was outstanding and the seemless connection between the 2 convinced us we made the right choice.

GOODLEAP RELEASES YOUR FUNDS AUTOMATICALLY TO INSTALLERS regardless if your panels are working or not. Our sales rep lied about that. If you run into ANY issues, you have absolutely no leverage and are at everyone's mercy. Our installer went bankrupt and Goodleap has been doing the bare minimum to help, all the while we pay the monthly payments less we want to ding our credit.

GOODLEAP IS A DISREPUTABLE COMPANY - Scam Partner GOODLEAP IS A PARTNER IN CRIME with the solar co. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF MATT DAWSON (Goodleap Co-founder) AND CHRISTIAN SHAW (Goodleap Partner Relations rep). Goodleap is a lending partner of RSolar who sold us a solar package and never finished installation and then went bankrupt. Goodleap was supposed to “pull back” $14,000 for a generator that was cancelled and never installed. Goodleap never did that and the solar co never sent the money back to Goodleap, and Goodleap is still billing us for the loan amount which includes the $14,000. I had a case opened with Goodleap but Christian Shaw closed it without resolution. I asked to speak with his manager and he told me NO. Christian Shaw was nice in the beginning but later on changed to nasty. Goodleap was supposed to disburse loan funds of 50% to start and then disburse the remaining 50% at the end. If they had followed their own process we wouldn’t have this problem and now USA Energy Savers DBA as RSolar filed bankruptcy. That leaves us holding the bag for $14,000 and nothing to show for it. I’ve reopened the case with Goodleap and they were going to give it back to the same nasty man, Christian Shaw, but I have asked for it to be given to someone else. I don’t expect that they will resolve this. By the way, while I cannot prove it, I suspect that the positive 5 star reviews here for Goodleap are not from real consumers.

Tina Thomas @Inez60
Good leap has put a lien on our property we have solar panels installed almost a year ago now from Texas solar LLC and we learned today April the 6th 2023 then good leap can't put a lien on our property and we make the payments every month which is a rip off. We just can't believe this. Good leap and the solar Inc not once stated to us that there would be a lien placed at all. Please stay away from theses people.

Got financing for solar panels through GOODLEAP. Everything was fine until Powerhome Solar went bankrupt. Then they were nowhere to be found for questions. Customer service was horrible. They sold the credit as a rebate. Then explained to me to send the hard check I would recieve back from the IRS to them to lowered my monthly premium. Yep! You guessed it. NO REBATE. The IRS does not cut checks for credits. That's America, scheisters, swindlers, tricksters. Then after receiving an email request from Goodleap, I requested a 6 month deferment for the 6 months that my solar system was questionably inoperable due to the faulty fasters that Powerhome Solar blamed on Generac, which Sunnova switched out of my house seven months latest. They said they couldn't grant me a 6 months deferment but would wave that and give me a 2 months deferment. Only to recieve a past due notice IMMEDIATELY the next MONTH FOR FAILURE TO MAKE PAYMENT AFTER GOODLEAP TURNED OFF MY PAYMENT AT THERE REQUEST. THEY ASK IF I WANTED TO CONTINUE WITH THE 2 MONTH DEFERMENT, I HAD TO DECLINE BECAUSE I DID NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY ANY FURTHER. ABSOLUTELY ONE THE WORST BANKING INSTUTIONS I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH. I WILL DITCH YOU THE FIRST CHANCE I GET. YOU WILL NOT GET A SINGLE PENNY OUT ME ANY FURTHER. AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW BAD YOUR COMPANY REALLY IS AND HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC.

I paid this off several months ago yet it still shows on my credit report. Won’t do another loan from this company. Paid off early but no benefit to my credit score.
