Delta Dental

They are scammers, thieves. Not recommended at all. Will prefer pay the whole bill out of my pocket instead of give them a penny. Hope they go bankrupt and loose with a big doubt that gonna happen because they are as I said thieves.

Delta Dental tries everything to avoid covering what they should. This time they put a hold on our claim, requesting us to get a proof of coverage denial from our primary medical insurance company. As a result, we are compelled to pay out of pocket the full amount (several thousand) ourselves.
If you plan to use Delta Dental, be aware that they will put numerous hurdles on your way to avoid paying anything they promise to pay.

If you want a pain in the rear and love having to be the middle man choose Delta Dental. I absolutely love having to spend time every month dealing with dental claims and paperwork. Mailing the policy holder payments for the provider instead sending to who is owed the money the provider. Too much time I spent with this dental insurance. Monthly.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you can’t get a person on the phone, especially when the insurance makes a mistake on their end. I pay the highest amount you can pay for insurance through delta, haven’t used it for years, but the one time I need it their system shows That I have no benefits and after 3 hours of both the dentist and I trying to get a representative on the phone, I ended up having to leaving the dentist office in terrible pain to try and figure out an option later. You are Despicable to charge people as much as you do and then just be completely Unavailable. No stars, No thank you, go somewhere else.

Scam! I did this insurance after spoke to the agent that garuenteed me that I'm cover for adult invisilgn and I will have only to pay my part ($2700) , however went I went to the doctor to get my treatment done ( in network) they got back a quote from the insurance that it is not covered and u can do metal braces.
Fraud!!!

Terrible service. Trying to talk with somebody through their web portal about my deep gum cleaning. (My dentist suggest they are supposed cover it but they didn't). After one week, they replied someone will contact me shortly. After another week, they say shortly means one month. After two months, still no one shows up. I tried to contact with them multiple times and no one ever talk with me anymore. Most ridiculous customer service I have ever seen. Will never recommend to anyone I know.

Terrible customer support and impossible to find any information. I was calling their hotline and they can answer my questions. Also, they just terminate the call when I ask about problems

Delta dental really sucks, every single time I call them I have to wait up to 2 hours EVEN if I call at 9 am, and every time I send them information, they always require additional information that I ALREADY gave them originally. They always require the same things like Xrays EVEN THOUGH I already mailed. WASTE OF TIMEE AND PAPERRR!!! BEWAREE!!!!

A total rip off. Continued to withdraw premiums long after participant was deceased. Horrible customer service from Delta Dental and AARP who administered the plan. Never recovered almost $2,000 that was automatically withdrawn from account. Would not recommend. Cancelling is impossible. Just go on the website and search for how to report a deceased participant. You will not find anything. They want you to call and be on hold for hours at a time.

THIS COMPANY IS A GIANT SCAM!!! I signed up for a plan last year, then found an agent that helped me choose a better plan and I understood that my initial plan was cancelled. Turns out Dental plan A was never cancelled after several phone calls and my payment for plan B was applied to the inactive plan. Spent almost 8 months fighting that. Then my plan was supposed to have been over in January...plan was termed on my agent's account and they've been taking money out of my account, even after calling to cancel the plan that was already supposed to have been termed. I can't tell you how many times I called to get things cancelled. Absolute scam.
