I have purchased two homes and have refinanced three times in my life. I went through HomeBridge for the second purchase and the last two refinances. I had a great experience each time. The process was always thoroughly explained. It was easy to get things done using their web portal. One time I made a mistake and was 56 cents short on a payment. I called customer service. I was transferred twice but the last representative was very helpful and explained why a partial payment is processed as a missed payment. I would use HomeBridge again.

Awful! My loan was sold to them for servicing and it has been ALL problems. Their customer service is the worst! Call, wait on hold, get an agent, who puts me on hold again, for 58 minutes! Then tells me she cannot do anything to help me. I have spent in excess of 5 hours on phone calls with them to no avail. How can I lose them?

Homebridge financial is the worst mortgage company. My mortgage was sold to them and I have had so many issues such as Paying my insurance late and causing a lapse in my insurance which made made insurance go up then accusing me of having a lapse in insurance so they stold 800 out of my escrow .

So since I closed my business due to coronavirus my mortgage company Homebridge Financial is prepared to offer me a 3 month forbearance but in 3 months I would owe a lump sum of over $6000.
How is that right? How are we supposed to do that? Why can't they put the money on the end? Why no assistance in this troubled time? People are going to end up homeless and houses are going to be sitting empty so the mortgage company will be losing money then right? I've never paid them late before.
This company is obviously all about money and greedy so you can bet if I make it through this troubled time I will take me mortgage to a company that steps you for our community

Homebridge is the worst lender I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The mortgage with them took over six months because their underwriters were ridiculous in their demands and their nitpicking every single tiny detail. They even gave me grief about a mutual fund I used to make the down payment because it didn't have some tiny detail on the statement that I got from the fund service provider.

I went on to refinance my mortgage with homebridge and AGAIN it took over six months with ridiculous demands. Every time I went to close they kept asking for more cash to closing and it was always at least $500 more than the disclosure stated.

Finally I gave up and refinanced with another lender. Within three weeks we had closed. Homebridge wasn't done, here I am several days after closing with another lender and they are still calling me demanding payment for the month or I'll be reported to the credit bureaus.

Homebridge has a talent for making the lending process as painful as possible. They're not worth the hassle, aggravation or headache. Do yourself a favor and find a different lender.
